Where: Bowser's Home
What: Bowser has a party because the world's going to end.
Warnings/Notes: Whatever a party hosted by Bowser entails. Alcohol is present.
Over the course of the past month Bowser has spent most of his time on one task: preparing for the upcoming multiversal destruction. Yes, this entails preparing to combat it, but the potential end of reality as it is known requires a party.
So for the past month Bowser has prepared for a party. He's advertised it across whatever he has access to; posters, mognet, possibly vandalism, and gathered food, drinks, decorations, supplies, et cetera. Somehow he even acquired red and gold banners and carpets with an emblem of his face. Inexplicably, he's made the house's interior look like that of his castles for the duration of the party, minus the lava pits and similar hazards.
A table is lined with a wide variety of meats, with many sweets, chips, drinks (alcoholic or otherwise), and a single dilapidated bowl of salad. In every corner there's some sort of torch that creates a serious fire hazard. Hope to your god(s) that additional fire safety precautions were taken because that open flame is awfully close to that banner.
As for Bowser himself, he's wearing a black suit and a top hat, though he still dons his spiked collar and cuffs. Mogoom is dressed similarly. In fact, as you arrive, Mogoom with greet you, offer to take your coat, baggage, or whatever else along that line you may have, and ask if you would like a refreshment. Once in, you’ll probably see Bowser and whoever else is already there.
A: Beginning
As the people arrive, guests are free to socialise. The table holding all the food is closed off, but guests are free to select from smaller tables with snacks and drinks. Guests may speak as either rock music or church organ music plays in the background. Bowser sits on a chair resembling a throne, a table with a plate of drumsticks beside him.
B: A Feast
After some time passes, an announcement is made. “Ladies and Gentlemen, if you’ll make your way to the dining room, the feast is ready. You are free to choose whatever you would like from the table.” Dinner commences, and guests are encouraged to, for the duration of the meal, forget the fact that the world will soon end, if not stopped. Rather, they should eat and drink and divert focus elsewhere.
C: Later Activities
Social activities seem to be a good way to understand the minds of the Heroes of Light, and as willing he is to ally with them for now, Bowser knows this won’t always be the case, should they survive. “I need suggestions for what we’re gonna do for the rest of the night.” Perhaps the Heroes will set their own trap, and the time where all are at their most vulnerable, desperate, and needing strength, unity, and most importantly, trust, they’ll reveal weaknesses willingly.
Either way, he should have a successful party if he can. If that means asking what everyone else wants, contrary to his usual nature as it may be, he’ll do it.
D: Clean-Up
After a time, the party ends, leaving Bowser to clean up alone in the morning. Unless, that is, there’s anyone to help or impede him. As miraculously the torches didn’t burn down the house, Bowser must remove many, many decorations.
(OOC: Players are free to make toplevels responding to prompts A, C, and/or D. However, Prompt B will be given its own toplevel by me.)
