π Have A Heart! π - player event [Open For All]
Who: Anyone and Everyone
When: February 14th
Where: Yun'Aisha
What: Player Event- It's Valentines' Day! A small festival in Yun'Aisha has been organized for the occasion. Everyone is welcome to attend! No sign-ups required~
Warnings/Notes: So much fluff it would be dangerous for your teeth? Other than that, nothing.
Today is one of a kind, special day, filled with love for all. Ignis and elderly residents of Yun'Aisha, welcome you in this cozy, snowy town to celebrate Valentine's Day! The residents of Yun'Aisha, as well as elderly people from nearby farms, agreed to help Ignis organize this small celebration. Transportation has been organized for anyone who wants to visit! Take your loved ones by the hand and have a walk around the Town, enjoy the small events, have fun and relax!
π 1. The Heart Vendors π
The First, and most prominent attraction in the town, are Chocolate Heart vendors.
In the spirit of the Holiday, they sell Chocolate Hearts in every color you can imagine.
There are vendors and shops selling the treats on every corner throughout the town, managed very welcoming grandmas, wearing red scarves and rose crowns. They will encourage you and your companion to buy together 4 hearts, in 4 different colors, to make a four-leaf clover for good luck!
And don't worry! All hearts are all fresh and handmade with lots of love!
Make sure to try one because there will be none tomorrow! Any leftover chocolate will be donated to hard working Moogles at the Curti Center!
π£ 2. Pet-A-Chocobo! π£
The Second biggest attraction is in the center of the city where farmers are bringing their most beautiful chocobos and chocochicks for the exhibition!
The birds are excited you came to see them- yellow, blue, green and black chocobos and chocochiks are welcoming you to take a picture with them!
If you are free, you are welcome to lend the chocobo breeders a helping hand!
Some of the more ~active~ chocochiks went wandering around the Town Square. Round them up and get a free ticket for any drink at Cup-O-Kawhee! Spicy hot chocolate is what they will recommend you!
If you don't have time for this, it's ok! The farmers will round them up eventually!
Feel free to feed them greens, pet them and take a picture with them!
The little ones are happy to see you!
π© 3. Fun and Games! π©
There are many other things you can do at the Festival, which includes, but is not limited, to:
β’ Shooting range! The person that knocks down 5 cans in three shots, gets a ticket for a free drink at Ignis' coffee shop!β’
β’ Visit the Lucky Fountain and make a wish! They say it works only on February 14th!β’
β’ There are many colorful stands that sell chocobo hats! Don't you want a chocobo hat? Of course you do! And they have a matching scarf to boot!β’
β’ Play Truth-or-Dare Spin The Wheel! The person that spins the wheel has to do whichever event the wheel stops on~ Test your luck!β’
β’ If you are feeling generous, you can lend a hand in cleaning up the place. The Moogles and the Elderly will really appreciate the help!β’
β 4. Cup-O-Kawhee Welcomes You! β
At the end of the day, when you are tired from walking so much, from chasing after chocobos and excitement from the dares,
Cup-O-Kawhee and Ignis welcome you to drop by, rest and warm up.
The shop is quaint and decorated for the occasion- but not in an overly flashy way
The tablecloth is a deep red color, decorated on the edges with a golden design. There are flowers everywhere- courtesy of Gladio.
Ignis still doesn't know how he manages to raise flowers in the middle of winter.
Every guest gets at the door a complimentary box with a chocolate truffle, handed out by Moogle Ebony and Ignis' assistant Ren.
Tea and coffee are half the price today- getting those toes warmed up again is a must!
π 5. Go Wild! π
Is there anything else you want to do in the town during this day?
Here's your wild card!
Enjoy the Festival and Happy Valentines Day!

Finn | OTA
Finn didn't know there was a promotion for catching the little Chocochicks. All he knew was that he found one in the middle of foot traffic around the Heart Vendors area. After cradling the little baby against his chest and cooing at it, Valli spotted one. Then BB-8 spotted another.
After that, the frantic, slightly panicked hunt was on. "One's over here!" Valli shouted over the top of several patrons' heads.
Though, her comment went more or less ignored as Finn and BB-8 were trying to corral an energetic one. Finn, currently packing four in his oversized Chemist jacket, was trying to get the jump on the tiny bird as BB-8 wheeled around and over people's feet, beeping loudly.
B. Truth-Or-Dare! π©
After Valli failed to make Finn play at the Shooting Range (he figured it was cheating at this point) and BB-8 proudly got a Chocobo hat (what, it looked good on him), the trio came across the Truth-or-Dare Wheel.
The droid rolled forward with an 'ooh', hat flopping along behind him, and the other two were hard-pressed not to follow.
Well... All right. Finn shrugs and gives the wheel a spin, much to the delight of his two buddies.
C. Coffee and Chill! β
There's not much going on with the trio for now. They've found a table off to the side, Finn leaning back and happily drinking from his mug while Valli sits on the table itself and 'taste test' every truffle in the box.
BB-8 is getting around, checking out the flowers and decorations. His Chocobo hat is almost the same height as the tables, so don't be alarmed if the hat just seems to float by and beep.
D. Wildcard! π
Finn's going to be all over the festival. Find him and his buddies wherever you like.

"...So does a question or a dare print out somewhere, give us a moral of today's story, maybe?"
no subject
A piece of paper did indeed get spat out of the side, so Finn took it and read it aloud. "Give every person and tree in a half mile radius a big hug and tell... each one that you... love them..."
His Moogle was laughing so hard that she hit the ground. Finn just flipped the paper over a couple of times to ensure that, yeah, there it was. "Um-"

The voice belongs to Klonoa, wearing chocobo-related paraphernalia, with Luta flying next to him, the mint-green pommed moogle similarly decked out in an "I Chocobos" shirt on. Klonoa steps closer, holding gold colored cotton candy as he pulls up a chair.
"Having a good festival? Oh, mind if we sit down?"
no subject
He glances over to the side to see the Moogle trying to hide the truffles behind her. His tone turns into something more like a warning. "Valli."
With a huff, she places them on the table so that the others can share. And stuffs another in her mouth before they can grab one.
Anyway, he turns his smile back on. "We're having a lot of fun. How have you guys been?"

Kanji | OTA
It had started as the beginning of his interest in having his own chocobo. Who better to ask than the local farmers and breeders who worked so closely with them? But as he grew to learn bit by bit about these odd animals, he found himself followed by a very neat little line of chocobo chicks in so many different colors.
Curiously, they pecked at his shoes and were fascinated with the way he walked and went about his business. Yet when he turned around and gave a very masculine squeal of delight, the chicks scattered.
"But... damn it, why!? You were followin' ME around...!" He crouched, and frowned.
"What'm I doin' wrong...? Why do animals not like me?"
[Fun and Games]
Kanji was staring down that Truth or Dare Wheel. Never Have I Ever was a fun game when it happened, and he'd surely learned his damn lesson from the King's Game. But... hey, you know, he wasn't about to chicken out just because he'd once had a bad time.
Besides, Teddie wasn't here to jump him, the bastard.
He reached for the wheel, paused, then sighed. He looked to his companion, whoever that may be. "Just don't go overboard, got it?"
pet-a-chocobo
Awh, and he looks so upset about it...
How very convenient that he had just delivered some greens to the makeshift stables. "Here, try thisβ" he offers, making his way over with a small smile, and a handful of the stuff for poor Kanji.
no subject
Offered were sprigs of veggies, odd white roots with very bushy, cabbage-y greens. Kanji reached out to accept them, recalling that the birds really enjoyed their veggies like horses, rather than feeds and fruit.
"Thanks. You think they'll come back...?" He looked out as little baby beaks and heads began to peer from their varied hiding places.
"This is so lame to admit, but I got a weird curse..."
pet-a-chocobo :3
"No animals like you?" he asked with some disbelief. Surely some animal, somewhere, hadn't been frightened away by Kanji before. Snow's thoughtful frown persisted and, after a moment, he held up his palm to summon a thin, dark serpent. It wrapped around his arm as if spawning straight from his wrist.
"You can hold my snake if you want," he mumbled.
no subject
But his eyebrows shot up when Snow seemed to call up a little snake from thin air. He'd seen something like this before, but primarily when his summoner friends called up the eidolons. That... wasn't Leviathan.
"Uh, wh-what kinda snake is that?" Namely, is he being messed with and will he find fangs in his hands thanks to his own bad luck with critters?
whoops, I have less XP than i thought; whatever, it's just for flavor

The dare was handed to him by the person manning the counter. "Okay, fine, let's see... Swap shirts with another person for a turn."
He looked to Serge. "...You heard the dare: Gimme yer shirt!"

Pet-a-Chocobo
"Aw, I think you surprised them, turning around so quickly! You gotta take it real slow with the little ones." He crouched down next to Kanji. "Oh, but chocobos like it when you sing to them! D'you keep those pipes of yours properly tuned?"
no subject
Yet...
"Pi... ohh! Uh, I don't- don't sing much. Just in the shower. Should I try?"

After days of manic emotion, Ravus feels hung over and unprepared to deal with the holiday today. The contentedness has worn off, and he just feels drained.
So he's sitting on a bench, a pair of dark sunglasses obscuring his eyes, nursing a cup of coffee while a chocobo chick perches on his lap. When it peeps at him insistently, he gives it a scratch on its head.
Cafe
Ravus is sure his housemates have had their fill of romantic gestures in the day leading up to today, so he doesn't arrive at Ignis's shop with flowers or declarations of affection.
He stops by to check on Ignis, though, and to bring a small gift. He'd worked hard to get a semi-presentable truffle made for him, after all. He knows Ignis has produced trays and trays of the treats for his promotion, and his own modest attempt is nothing special. But he made it, and he hopes Ignis will appreciate the effort.
Rather than bothering Ignis, who is undoubtedly busy, he lets Ebony know he is here and takes a seat to wait for his boyfriend to have a break.
Cafe
When he tells Ignis that Ravus is here, Ignis can't help but smile. The Moogle gets a pat on the head and Ignis takes off the apron he's been wearing. He's dressed sharply (
for a blind man) and makes sure with Ebony he looks presentable (and that there is no chocolate on his face) when he leaves the back and heads for where Ravus was sitting."I am glad you managed to come," Ignis says, running a hand over Ravus' shoulders as he passes, then takes a seat across of him.
no subject
"It is not an imposition. I brought you something."
The chocolate truffles he made are packaged in a little paper box. He slides them over to Ignis' side of the table.
"Dark chocolate and espresso. They can not compare to yours, of course."

Chocobos
The last few days have been a blurry whirlwind of emotions and he remembers being overwhelmingly affectionate towards everyone, but especially so towards his far more reserved boyfriend.
"Hey Ravus," he keeps his voice softer than usual, not wanting to startle the chocochick or the beautiful, and obviously exhausted, man. "How're you feeling after ... after all that stuff finally wore off?"
no subject
It's not that he does not love Gladio. He just doesn't need it broadcast to the whole world like Gladio was trying to do.
"I am exhausted. It feels like being hung over, but without having made my own bad decisions to justify it."

Gladiolus Amicitia l OTA
Greenhouses are probably the best invention ever, Gladio thinks, as he admires how the flowers really add to the cafe's holiday decor.
He enters early in the day, wanting to catch his thoughtful and busy lover before the rush of patrons wears the man out. There's a single bloom in his hands, a red camellia, and Gladio presents it to Ignis with a little flourish (because there's nothing wrong with going all out even if his boyfriend can't see the movement).
"For you, Ignis, a red camellia to symbolize how you remain an ever-burning flame in my heart." Gently, he tucks the flower behind Iggy's ear. "Figured you dealt with enough over-the-top gestures over the last couple days but I couldn't let today go by without giving you a small somethin'."
Wildcard - Gladio Gives Out Flowers
((OOC: what it says on the tin))
Gladio spends part of the day behind a small table that is absolutely covered in flowers. Noodle's hand-written sign in front proudly displays:
Free Flowers! Say it with a Scented Symbol!
The letters are covered in glitter and there are little hearts drawn all over the sign and Gladio adores it because his sweet Moogle made it. Anyone can come up and ask for either a specific flower or ask for a flower to suit whatever feelings they are trying to convey.
no subject
The sound of Gladio's voice makes him pause and turn to him, hand leaning on the counter as the flower is placed behind his ear.
"Wonderful," he says with a smile. And picks up one of the truffles from the plate, looking like a fuzzy ball from being rolled in grated chocolate. "For you, a chocolate truffle with a tinge of cherry rum," he offers it to Gladio to eat it right from his fingers.

Kuja
It had been a bad week. Kuja had spent most of it half-crazed and the remainder badly in need of a drink. On the plus side, Snow White was back and he wanted to get out and... do something that didn't involve madly clinging to every scrap of attention he could get.
Dinner and coffee seemed like an acceptable option.
no subject
"This was a good idea, Kuja." Snow White smiled over his coffee mug. "I'm glad things aren't... awkward."
He was still a little embarrassed about how he'd conducted himself even just yesterday. But he reminded himself that Kuja was just as affected by whatever had influenced them.

Sam Vimes | OTA
Vimes had dealt with horses, and with camels. He'd dealt with pigs and cows and goats and even hippos, on occasion, and found that he never quite got on with the animal kingdom, except for those occasions when they were served fried and slightly burnt and served on a plate. And yet, the large, fluffy, sunshine-yellow creature in front of him was... endearing, in its own way. He had to admit, the way it warbled at him to get his attention as he passed would have been enough to break a lesser man. What hope could he have against those massive, soulful, incessantly-friendly eyes?
Somewhat begrudgingly, Sam Vimes reached out to give the corralled chocobo pets. Young Sam, he reflected, would have been utterly enthralled. He'd have given it less than a minute before Sybil declared they were getting two. He could see the appeal.
Giant Goats
...it's not a friggin' silver dragon thing, but he's got to get something.
Re: Giant Goats
