What: According to all known laws of narrativium, a cop cannot go on a vacation without stumbling on a criminal conspiracy... Tyzias and company go on a vacation. Shenanigans ensue.

Many people hate working. They view it as a necessity, a chore they need to do to keep living comfortably. But for some stubborn idiots, working is their lives. Folks like that are lauded as heroes by their bosses, and feared by their coworkers for their sheer, tenacious energy.

There's one problem with people like that, though. They tend to self-destruct when they have nothing to do. For example: Tyzias Entykk generally refuses to touch caffeine on principle. It feels like cheating to her. For the past week, wherein she's been forced to take a vacation, she's been guzzling caffeine pills like candy. Which is why several people have decided to stage an intervention.

So now Tyzias is slouching outside of the Curti Center's lawhouse, stuffed in a Hawaiian shirt and scowling like a feral cat who was just forced to take a bath.

With the vacation winding down, Sasami had decided she needed more options for the trials ahead. Thus, she opted to take up the Paladin job. She needed something with a little more strength to it and besides, it made her look like a knight! It looked pretty cool!

Thus, to make sure she was sure enough to take up this Job, she opted to go fight some Gizzards outside of Von Oktavia to test out her skill on weak opponents. At the very least nothing will show up to cause trouble, right?

After all, she already has back just about everything she could ever want. It never occurs to her the item could be something she absolutely wouldn't want back, however...

A. Curti Center, End of April

[A new robot emerges from Ganeshan's lab. It's not the start of a new month, so he can't possibly be a new arrival, but one would have definitely noticed a Cybertronian larger than Megatron traveling with the group. His expression is serious, but the air he carries has him appear to be pleased with something.

The suit still functions well. Some of the functionality has been lost, but Minimus can work with that. What matters is that he has a larger body capable of wielding larger weapons and intimidating criminals. At last, he isn't walking around in his irreducible form.

On the other hand, the hallways of the research center were not built for large beings, which does make sense, Miminus tells himself, as it dissuades visitors from bringing Chocobos and large suits of armor indoors.]

[He squats and shuffles to the side of the walkway, allowing two interns to pass.]

Forgive me, I...am not used to accommodations of this size. [Good heavens, he ought to find a roll-up door and make his leave through the vehicle port. After some difficulty, he finds himself in the airship garage. This is familiar.

As you pass by, you can see a large blue robot have its body parts shift around to turn into a large truck]

...Hm. Something feels off. [Perhaps he has to get used to transforming after such a long time without the armor. He was certain he found nothing wrong after thoroughly cleaning the suit from the retrieval.

Oh, well. It's time to slowly ride outside.]

B. Safer Osu, Late April and May

[Said giant robot takes a walk throughout the military city, striding through the larger streets and looking over the citizens. They are all staying at least two meters away from store fronts and refraining from walking against the crowd. It helps that the residents keep clear of the large Cybertronian walking in their midst. He will enjoy working in this city.

His destination: the law enforcement department of Safer Osu. Ultra Magnus has the copy of the local laws downloaded on the Slate, his Moogle Mogsuna sits on his shoulder, waving at Heroes of Light and their Moogles as Magnus wears a deep frown, completely serious about his future employment.]

Asriel -- Early Loop
Asriel lay back on his bed, staring up at the ceiling, the imog slate laying beside him with its screen still brightly lit with the auto-dimmer not yet engaged. This world he's found himself and... varying instances of his friends and family in for the past half year or so is lethally threatened, and just like before, they're stuck in an endless loop of time travel until someone figures out how to fix it.

Someone has to. There was too many of them to just let it go on, and besides, he'd been through this kind of thing before.

Asriel put his hand to his head, pinching the bridge of his nose. He'd been spending the past three hours studying the news and updates from the chat group. Everyone seemed to be making.. slow, constant progress, running into snags and starting to try and figure out how to untangle them. With the flurry of activity, he had needed to rest his eyes for a moment. So many people seemed to be depressed.. but how could he even blame them? The situation was a nightmare tangle. Heck, he was used to this, and it was still getting him down. Still... everyone seemed to be doing their part. Kuja'd managed to resist exploding a cashier, Conway was on that mission person's case, and all of his siblings were searching for lost kids. What could he do?

Asriel closed his eyes, just thinking about it. Easy things had ended up being harder than anticipated, or someone had already gotten to them before him. Ganeshan was alive, at least, but even that was a hack job. He slowly sat up again, taking one more look at the slate.

National Panic Day...

The boss monster blinked gradually. Could it really work? He moved over to sit at the edge of the bed, reaching down over the side. There'd never been much instruments in the Underground, but there was plenty of human music, and he'd read all the books they had on the subject. His fingers slowly brushed over the frets of a cheap guitar, purchased way back when he'd been looking for ways to spend his agonizing amount of free time. They started to move in unison, giving an experimental strum as an off-tune note filled the air.

Warnings/Notes: Time Travel grammar is weird.

Bowser had noticed something on the first April 11, that Maul wasn’t there during the Bahamut fight. It was easy to understand why, Bowser himself might have behaved similarly once. Regardless, he was upset to know it had happened. The absence was understood, but the dishonesty it involved was unacceptable.

With the Berserker job equipped, Bowser knocked down the door to B-01. He roared after he had done so, surely getting the attention of those inside. People outside may also have noticed, but it didn’t matter. The important thing was that Bowser got answers and possibly some revenge.
