What: Sasami has picked up the Paladin job. She wants to try this out!

With the vacation winding down, Sasami had decided she needed more options for the trials ahead. Thus, she opted to take up the Paladin job. She needed something with a little more strength to it and besides, it made her look like a knight! It looked pretty cool!

Thus, to make sure she was sure enough to take up this Job, she opted to go fight some Gizzards outside of Von Oktavia to test out her skill on weak opponents. At the very least nothing will show up to cause trouble, right?

S'reee is considering her own options, now that she's mostly mastered Illusionist, and the Custom job she's been working on should let her try new things. But until then, she's sticking to the job whose passive skill gives her mobility in air, and testing out combinations against enemies she can defeat (or at least teleport away from). "Mind if I join you?"

"Of course!" Sasami said, being able to ignore the monsters enough to acknowledge S'reee's presence. "Wanting to do some training, too?"

"Some experiments," S'reee agreed. "I don't think I'm using my Illusionist asterisk to its full ability."

[saint_sami]

"Oh! That's not good at all!" Sasami said, wincing just a bit. "Honestly, I just feel like I'm not doing enough."

"Why do you say that?" S'reee asked.

[saint_sami]

"The last two Jobs I focused on, Gourmand and White Mage, I couldn't do much with. Gourmand requires a lot of actions to take and there are plenty of people with healing spells." Sasami admitted. "I have Magitek Knight, but... I just don't like that much technology."

"I've stuck to the magical jobs myself," S'reee said. "I'm not equipped for most weapons or armor. But swords and armor don't count as technology?"

"Not really, but Magitek Knight is focused on technology to mimic things, so it's... a little over my head." Sasami admitted.

S'reee made a thoughtful hum. "Well, let's see how this new Job suits you, then?"

[saint_sami]

"Mmn, lets!" Sasami said, nodding as she raised her gear again.

S'reee considered, and user her own Imitate spell to make a duplicate of Sasami improbably standing there. "Let's see how we can use this."

"Right!" The approaching gizzards looked at the suddenly two appearing Sasamis, confused as to which one was which.

S'reee said, "I'm just going to follow your lead."

Fellow new Paladin, Ultra Magnus...rather, Minimus Ambus as revealed in the meeting earlier this month, patrolled the outer regions of the city. His duty as Paladin was to guard the populace from monsters, and Geezards - though weak individually - were powerful in large numbers. They were like Ammonites, in a sense. One single member of their species could die with a footstep, but a large group had nearly taken down Cybertronians if it hadn't been for quick rescues.

He saw such a group crowding around the young human - Sasami. He stropped up to her, watching her form.

"How are you feeling?"

"Just a little overwhelmed." Sasami admitted. "I think I brought just a bit too many up. Can you give me a hand, please?"

"Of course. Take a few steeps away."

He had his Paladin sword, basic enough to fight a weak enemy. While his hammer used for the Immortal Lawman would be far more effective in killing groups of monsters, it put allies in close proximity, such as Sasami, in danger.

He stabbed one Geezard with a casual but restrained blow. "We should fall back and rest before resuming your training."
