Nakagawa Refugees [Closed]
Who: Corrin, Nozomi, Tyzias, Vimes, Conway
When: Evening of April 10th
Where: Law House, Curti Center
What: After barely escaping the bloodbath in Nakagawa at the hands of the Bahamut Cult with the other Heroes of Light there and whatever survivors they could rescue, Corrin and Nozomi find themselves back at the Curti Center and homeless on the eve of the battle with Bahamut. Corrin decides to call upon her former lodgings at Law House so she and Nozomi have a place to sleep before the final battle.
Warnings/Notes: Probable descriptions of what went down in Nakagawa, general gloominess
"Come on, Nozomi...it's not far now." Corrin says tiredly as she and her housemate make their way through the darkened, mostly empty streets of the Curti Center. They're both exhausted; it's been a long, long day.
Was it really just this morning they had gotten up in that little house in Nakagawa? It feels like it might have been years ago.
The airship had pulled into the Curti Center with the two of them, the other local Heroes of Light, their Moogles, iMogs and whatever gear they could grab on their way out of the city, and the civilians they had managed to save from the bloodshed.
There had been far too few of the latter group.
At first they'd decided to make for Arito, only to find out en-route that the situation there was just as bad...worse when the explosion had gone off. But by then they'd already turned towards the Curti Center; it was the only place they could think to go. They had just barely made it on the fuel they had left.
After that there had been a general...dispersal. The civilians and other Heroes had gone off to find what shelter and accommodations they could; there wasn't nearly enough staff left on to help, but some of the housing units were empty enough that some room could be found.
For Corrin, there was only one place she could think for her and Nozomi to go; her old lodgings at "Law House". She knew all of the residents well there; considered them good friends. If she and Nozomi showed up looking for a place to stay at least for one night, they'd help them.
After that, it was impossible to plan.
"Here...it's right here." She says, turning onto the walkway towards the house. Good, lights were still on. Someone should be home. Wearily, the two women make their way up to the front door, and Corrin knocks, hoping someone will be able to let them in.
