Crystals have fallen out of the Dream Width in a beautiful meteor shower and scattered all over the world! Due to their origins and mysterious properties, the Curti Center is interested in gathering as many as they can for researching purposes. To incentivize the public in helping out, O'aka has donated a few silver coupons to those top few who collect the most crystals. There's also a rumor that the one person (or more if there's a tie) who collects the most, wins something marvelous and mysterious~

The hunt for these crystals have taken storm across Vaikuntha and they're suddenly worth a lot. It's all anyone talks about anymore! The locals have gone crazy with it! If you weren't interested to begin with, surely the madness that is this new fad has sunk its teeth in. Besides, who knows what the crystals can actually do? Are they gifts? Curses? Dust collectors? Only one way to find out.

Mimic's Health Remaining: 48%

After a few spins too many, the Mimic finally let go and slammed against the wall on the opposite side. BB-8 and Valli both screamed, running away from their not-so-safe corner to get behind Klonoa.

Maybe running off without Finn wasn't the best idea? Whodda thunk?

Klonoa whirls on the box, ear still smarting--it's really good that he has White Mage after all this--as he charges forwards, arm rippling with electricity! "You leave them alone!" He calls out as he does his upmost best to deliver a vicious Bolt Uppercut to the mimic, aiming right for the hingey portion.

Mimic's Health Remaining: 12.8%

Oh dear! The Mimic doesn't look too good!

It frantically waddles around before headed straight for BB-8 and Valli!

Mimic's Remaining Health: 0% OVERKILL

Luckily, the droid was able to react on instinct, and the Mimic is now no more. Even better, a Shadow Crystal slides over to Klonoa's feet. Yay! There's a path now that leads right out of the maze.

Just, uh, don't forget the trembling droid and moogle in the corner before you go.

Or the crystal, too! Klonoa quickly picks it up, but that's really not the important thing here. He swaps over to White Mage, stepping over to the others.

"Hey, are you two alright?? You aren't hurt, are you?" He moves closer, just looking them over. He's absolutely ready to throw down healing if they need it! Crystal hunting is a lot more dangerous than it seems, isn't it...

"N-No. No, we're okay. We're okay, right?"

The moogle looks over at the droid, who bobs his head after a second, slowly realizing what's going on. Then he seems to 'stand' a little straighter, having saved the day!

He starts beeping excitedly at Klonoa, rolling around him in a circle and chattering all the while.

Valli, however, looks exhausted. "Maybe this wasn't a good idea."

Klonoa frowns, though the running around in a circle makes him smile pretty quickly. "Sorry, Valli. I don't think anyone could have expected a bunch of angry treasure chests. Can we go back to Finn? I know he was really worried about you guys." He asks, glancing back down at BB-8.
