Plot || The Star Wars Vaikuntha Special

What: The race for the crystals is on!!

Crystals have fallen out of the Dream Width in a beautiful meteor shower and scattered all over the world! Due to their origins and mysterious properties, the Curti Center is interested in gathering as many as they can for researching purposes. To incentivize the public in helping out, O'aka has donated a few silver coupons to those top few who collect the most crystals. There's also a rumor that the one person (or more if there's a tie) who collects the most, wins something marvelous and mysterious~
The hunt for these crystals have taken storm across Vaikuntha and they're suddenly worth a lot. It's all anyone talks about anymore! The locals have gone crazy with it! If you weren't interested to begin with, surely the madness that is this new fad has sunk its teeth in. Besides, who knows what the crystals can actually do? Are they gifts? Curses? Dust collectors? Only one way to find out.

Snow Crystal - Hope's Peak
Fort Armstrong has created an obstacle course for anyone to try their luck and win a crystal! If you decide to travel to Hope's Peak and take part in the challenge, you'll arrive to a live audience that's only this pumped at Blitzball games. They're all seated around a massive set that certainly gives off that obstacle course vibe.
A soldier of the fort will lead you to the starting podium, explain that you'll have two minutes to reach the end and press the button once the starting buzzer sounds, then provides a thumbs up before running off.
Your time to shine, Hero! Are you ready?
[ooc: "One stat from a character's Passive Job will boost their Active Job stat. If two jobs have an S rank in the same stat, that stat automatically becomes an SS rank. For combinations that do not have SS rank combinations, the player can choose which stat is boosted. REVISED WITH NEW SYSTEM - PASSED
Okuyasu barely manages to hang on to the walls during the spider wall portion! Though he loses valuable time, he makes it through with the crowd cheering!
He makes up all of that lost time with the wall run, clearing it with almost a single leap and bound! He's the crowd favorite now!
He jumps for the rope climb, grabs the rope, swings around, and makes it to the other side!
Lastly, he jumps on the barrel roll, has a little trouble with it, but manages to get across! He presses the button and BLAM!!
Congrats! Okuyasu won the Snow Crystal!!

Special Note: Frisk can see 0.5 seconds into the future whenever they're attacked or near a hazard, which seems relevant to an obstacle course.
REVISED WITH NEW SYSTEM - STILL FAILED
The wall run's next, and Frisk nails it again! Just leaps over the thing like nothing!
Then comes the rope climb and, wowee! Nothing's stopping this Hero! They swing across like it's absolutely nothing!
The crowd's going crazy! They're loving this! Focused on the goal, Frisk lunges for the barrel roll and starts making their way across! Except! Well! Even with their future sight (which was calculated into their odds), they don't see this one coming. The barrel just swings around at incredible speeds, flinging Frisk straight into the water like a rocket!
It was a great run, too. Rip. Better luck next time!

The rope climb proves a little tricky but is nothing he can't handle! Then there's the barrel roll, which is pretty tense! He even slips at one point, holding on to the barrel for dear life, but makes it to the other side!
He presses the button just in time and the crowd erupts in cheers!

Noteworthy abilities include Glide and Reflect. The former would allow him some leeway over traps low to the ground, and certainly let him attack some obstacles from unorthodox angles. He can also instantly switch to Black Mage or Illusionist, which combined with Spellshape may allow for interesting tricks such as ice platforms across water stages, etc. Assuming, of course, that he's allowed.

The wall run and rope climb are done effortlessly, practically zooming by!
Then comes the barrel roll... All of those flying and spells are pretty awesome, but the barrel moves in the opposite direction Kuja clearly wanted to go in. He trips, falls, and catches himself! But his feet are in the water.
The judges tell him he's out. Better luck next time!
