Plot || The Star Wars Vaikuntha Special

What: The race for the crystals is on!!
Warnings/Notes: OOC Post
Crystals have fallen out of the Dream Width in a beautiful meteor shower and scattered all over the world! Due to their origins and mysterious properties, the Curti Center is interested in gathering as many as they can for researching purposes. To incentivize the public in helping out, O'aka has donated a few silver coupons to those top few who collect the most crystals. There's also a rumor that the one person (or more if there's a tie) who collects the most, wins something marvelous and mysterious~
The hunt for these crystals have taken storm across Vaikuntha and they're suddenly worth a lot. It's all anyone talks about anymore! The locals have gone crazy with it! If you weren't interested to begin with, surely the madness that is this new fad has sunk its teeth in. Besides, who knows what the crystals can actually do? Are they gifts? Curses? Dust collectors? Only one way to find out.

Needless to say, an explosion is imminent.

Ah! Klonoa comes to a big open clearing with a big chest in the cent- Wait a minute.
There's a moogle standing in front of the chest, balancing on top of a round droid so that she can reach the lock without having to float. She has what looks like a hair clip in one hand and a thin knife in the other.
With the explosions, however, they're both frozen and staring at Klonoa. They both look at the chest, who's eyes are open and also staring at Klonoa. And now he's looking back at the duo and- The Mimic opens his mouth wide to chomp them!
Don't worry, BB-8 knows when he isn't wanted. With a squeal, he peels backwards, leaving Valli to trip over him. "HEY HOLD ON-!"
They could probably use a hand.

The Wind Ring starts crackling, and Klonoa is raring to strike, diving down towards the chest before bringing the ring up in an electrifying Bolt Uppercut!
Take that, not-a-chest!

BB-8 and Valli both scream at the sudden attack, getting out of the way of the battle.
The Mimic, stunned, shakes off the attack and pursues Klonoa instead! It shuffles forward quickly, threatening to take a Chomp out of one of Klonoa's cute ears!

It bit him on the ear!!
Klonoa winces, flapping around before suddenly getting a good deal more angry than he was before. That particular spot to bite turns out not to be a particularly good one to hold onto as Klonoa begins to spin around rapidly, the Wind Ring held out to create a swirling Whirlwind all around him!
Of course, even in the haze of extreme ire, Klonoa is well sure to keep BB-8 and Valli out of the blasting range!

After a few spins too many, the Mimic finally let go and slammed against the wall on the opposite side. BB-8 and Valli both screamed, running away from their not-so-safe corner to get behind Klonoa.
Maybe running off without Finn wasn't the best idea? Whodda thunk?

Oh dear! The Mimic doesn't look too good!
It frantically waddles around before headed straight for BB-8 and Valli!

Makes the puppet deliver an explosive package to the enemies for medium fire damage.
Mimic's Remaining Health: 0% OVERKILL
Luckily, the droid was able to react on instinct, and the Mimic is now no more. Even better, a Shadow Crystal slides over to Klonoa's feet. Yay! There's a path now that leads right out of the maze.
Just, uh, don't forget the trembling droid and moogle in the corner before you go.

"Hey, are you two alright?? You aren't hurt, are you?" He moves closer, just looking them over. He's absolutely ready to throw down healing if they need it! Crystal hunting is a lot more dangerous than it seems, isn't it...

The moogle looks over at the droid, who bobs his head after a second, slowly realizing what's going on. Then he seems to 'stand' a little straighter, having saved the day!
He starts beeping excitedly at Klonoa, rolling around him in a circle and chattering all the while.
Valli, however, looks exhausted. "Maybe this wasn't a good idea."
