What: Event log for the Once Upon A Dream Event! Should your character have their own memory, start your own top-level with said memory. If not, then tag around in other characters's memories! Furthermore, feel free to use the Mingle threads at the Curti Center and in the Airships for non-memory related CR. Please refer to the OOC Post for details and plotting. Plot Memories and the second Airship Mingle will be unlocked on May 25th.

Hana wasn't a stranger to hacking. In fact, she had a tendency to call it out the few times she caught it during tournaments. It was a foul and wicked thing for anyone to rely upon just to win. It meant they lacked skill, motivation, and determination if they had to rely on cheap tactics just to get ahead. But cheating in video games required a bit of skill and know-how. It wasn't, however, something could summon in thin air. Wich appeared to be the case just now.

The script. The words. It was so easy to figure out without even having to think, but seeing her name there next to the words of 'removal' put her on edge. The reality of just how serious and catastrophic this situation she walked into was made her regret even stepping foot on board the ship. If someone told her yesterday that she would find peace by being deleted, she'd question their sanity. But she can't be deleted. Right

"H-Hang on! Wait!" Hana practically shrieked and wanted to move forward to stop her. But how can she do that? She has no idea how she's even able to access her files. And since when did she even have files? This dream. This dream was responsible.

"What's your name? Maybe we can talk and... become friends?"

[peninhand]

"Friend? That has to be a cruel joke." Even though Monika sounded emotionless and cold, it was pretty obvious she was purposefully repressing her emotions. "My friends do nothing but cast me to the sidelines. Am I to be forgotten, just a side character who is cut off from the only relief I have in this world? No. I won't let it happen again."

Monika raised a finger as the text changed, another attempt made to delete D.Va and...

hana.chr deleted successfully.

It happened within an instant.

The deletion would leave D.Va without a body, without the ability to move or interact with her environment. Yet, somehow she would still able to see, listen and even speak-- Even though her voice would only be heard in the back of Monika's mind. How could it be?

But that wasn't the worst of it.

It would be like the body she had lost was still aching. Was that the phenomenon known as the phantom pain? Soon, static and rapid flashes of color would start filling her vision while her mind would be filled with all kinds of weird and unceasing screaming noises. Anyone in such a predicament would likely go either completely mad after a while. Thankfully the memory was going to reset within the next thirty seconds or so.

It was a nightmare made a reality. Everything didn't make sense. The atmosphere, the memory, and the person who was the cause of it all. She didn't want this anymore and now regretted every boarding the ship that led to this madness. What was worse was that it seemed the intent to become friends only riled her further. Friends. She had none, she said. It triggered something vile and made her panic more than she already was.

And just like that with a flick of her finger, her name was deleted. Her presence was removed. Her cry muted, her agony silenced. She was still here, and yet she wasn't. Flashes, static, colors, and screaming. This was the worst way for someone to ever die if this was dying. She hated it, screamed mentally as she couldn't physically. And when it was done...

... it reset. Hana failed to shake Monika out of it.
