What: Event log for the Once Upon A Dream Event! Should your character have their own memory, start your own top-level with said memory. If not, then tag around in other characters's memories! Furthermore, feel free to use the Mingle threads at the Curti Center and in the Airships for non-memory related CR. Please refer to the OOC Post for details and plotting. Plot Memories and the second Airship Mingle will be unlocked on May 25th.

Aqua ☆ A Thorny Pathway ☆ Spoiler for KH 0.2

[It is dark all around; at first glance one might assume it's merely nighttime… but a closer look might betray something else entirely going on. The forest making up this particular memory is eery and hauntingly quiet – there is no wind blowing, no soft breeze to move even the slightest stalk of grass, and no animal life chirping.

The only person moving along the path, is Aqua, her expression wary as she studies her surroundings.]

Another world I know…

[Except maybe she isn't quite the only person because further along the path two boys slowly make their way, Aqua's eyes widening when she spots them and in the next second she already starts to sprint to catch up to them, hope and despair warring on her face as she runs.

It's no use though – before she even has the chance to reach them, both boys disappear in a swirl of golden dust… and before Aqua can even make another step, large thorny vines shoot out of the ground to block her path. Aqua jumps back at that, her wrist turning slightly as a large key-shaped weapon falls into her hand and she snaps at the vines:]

Get out of my way!

[That is the only warning they receive before Aqua cuts them down – them and the dark creatures that start appearing in her path as she continues straight on, chasing after the golden phantoms of the boys.

After a little while she reaches a clearing, where a giant creature is waiting – her grip right tight around her Keyblade as she shouts:]

You really think you can keep me away from my friends?

[Okuyasu instinctively swipes his hand before the vines, forgetting that he was in his memory world. No Stand appeared, and the thorns do not disappear. His powers were not returned.

The next option is to grab the thick vines (avoiding pricking himself on the thorns by pulling his sleeves up to cover his palms - he's a bit proud of thinking ahead - and tugging on them as hard as he can.]

[ Why do so many of these dreams end up with her chasing people? She's gonna need like ten billion naps when she gets home from all this. But that certainly looks like one of her shipmates, so she should probably do something.

She stops... pretty short when she sees that Darkside though because uh. That does not look like something she wants to tangle with. Never really was an offensive fighter, and no reason to really expect otherwise. Doesn't mean she just stands there though - instead she keeps her eyes peeled, looking for things that could help, or openings that Aqua could hit.

Or additional enemies that might pop up while she's occupied. Like a few opportunistic Neoshadows. ]

Look out! There's more behind you!

[This place is...familiar. It reminds Terra of the forests of Enchanted Dominion, but this place is different. Darker.

He doesn't have much time to notice it, however, because there's something more important: Ven, standing next to him, glowing faintly gold.]

Ven!

[Terra reaches for his friend, only to find his hand passing through. He's glowing himself, he realizes. The only one who looks normal is Aqua, off in the distance but growing nearer.]

Ven? Aqua?

[Reluctant to leave Ven, Terra prepares for battle. His Keyblade falls into his hand the same as it ever has. For the first time in two months, he feels complete.]

[This place sure is spooky. Bonnie is positively shivering as she flutters along but Aqua is an almost literal bright spot in all the darkness. She's about to call out to the Keyblade Master when the vines begin to surge and swarm. The moogle yelps, falling back in surprise but as Aqua runs on ahead she lowers her hood and steels her courage.

In a bob of fluff there's a hooded moogle alongside Aqua, brandishing a knife at the giant Heartless. She's scared, but she can't let someone take this thing on by itself.]

St-stand down, kupo!
