Event || Once Upon A Dream

Who: All characters who signed-up!
When: May 31st - June 04th
Where: The Dream Width (+ Curti Center & Airships)
What: Event log for the Once Upon A Dream Event! Should your character have their own memory, start your own top-level with said memory. If not, then tag around in other characters's memories! Furthermore, feel free to use the Mingle threads at the Curti Center and in the Airships for non-memory related CR. Please refer to the OOC Post for details and plotting. Plot Memories and the second Airship Mingle will be unlocked on May 25th.

They flail. Rather, Okuyasu waves his limbs around until he manages to orient himself towards the ship.

"Ain't there anything to push off of?!" He kicks with both legs and glides forward a foot.

Adrien looks around, but he doesn't see anything beside his sword.

"... What's your asterisk!?"

[righthandstand]

"Monk!" The one he has equipped now. Not that it has anything useful--

"Oh, and Illusionist. Hey, I can teleport right there!" But what about Adrien? Okuyasu is stumped.

"Great!"

At least one of them would get there. "You can help me back once you're on board."

[righthandstand]

With a nod, Okuyasu disappears from view. A second later, he shows up beside Adrien closer to the ship.

He grabs hold of his arm and tugs him closer, though Okuyas falls back in response.

Okay... it's weird being out here alone, but all he could do for now was wait.

And it pays off as Okuyasu comes back. Of course, he falls after Okuyasu with a slight yelp.

Oh. Oh. This would work better than teleporting to the ship and banging on the doors and telling them to go back before Adrien disappears again. Once Adrien has traveled a considerable distance and slowed down, Okuyasu teleports in front of him once more, grabs him by the collar, and flings him at the ship.

This has got to be a major waste of his magic powers, but it's working getting them over to the ship as unorthodox as it is. Adrien just does not fight it... until he almost collides with the ship - then he has to put his hands out to stop him from crashing into it.

It exhausts him mentally, but when all he has is a hammer, he's got to brute force it. Once Okuyasu is by the airship hull, he bangs his hands against the doors repeatedly. Thankfully, the crew is well aware that mysterious banging on the ship is a sign to open up the hatch, and soon after a panicked airship worker stands in the open doorway.

"Inside, hurry!"

Thank goodness for quick workers. Adrien scrambles to get inside, but also helps Okuyasu forward. After all, he did most of the brunt work this time; Adrien needs to help him back.

Okuyasu falls onto his knees once inside, now allowed to relax. The workers ask if they're alright, if they're harmed, but a quick check-up shows that they weren't out for so long that they were heavily effected by the Dream Width.

For now, they usher the two boys back to the lounge.
