Where: The Dream Width (+ Curti Center & Airships)
What: Event log for the Once Upon A Dream Event! Should your character have their own memory, start your own top-level with said memory. If not, then tag around in other characters's memories! Furthermore, feel free to use the Mingle threads at the Curti Center and in the Airships for non-memory related CR. Please refer to the OOC Post for details and plotting. Plot Memories and the second Airship Mingle will be unlocked on May 25th.

Futaba jumps slightly and whips around, though the sight of a familiar face is something of a relief. Although confusing.

"Naoto? What are you doing here? And... what are you wearing?" because that wasn't her job uniforms or anything she'd seen her wearing before? Although that simultaneously makes her realize, she's... wearing something along similar lines? "Wait, what am I wearing?"

Because she hadn't worn a school uniform in months.

[pishirogane]

"... I believe we're inside a memory. There was an issue aboard the ship..."

They had been warned before heading out. Looking back at Futaba, she recalled that of course she wouldn't recognize the uniform. "They're the Yasogami High Uniforms."

Naoto was in her preferred version; good job Kanji's memory.

[promiselisting]

"Yeah, ours too, but..." How had the two of them ended up here, together? And where were the others? Ren and Makoto?

Yasogami High, though. The name didn't really mean all that much to her, but it was obvious it did to Naoto. That meant she knew it. And- She pauses abruptly. "Wait, this isn't your, memory, right?"

At least Naoto wasn't acting like it was; Futaba's putting the pieces together. If it wasn't Naoto's memory (because it certainly wasn't Futaba's), then that meant that the Yasogami High uniform wold mean something to the person whose memory it was. And there was really only one person that could be.

[pishirogane]

"Hm..." Strange that it was all the ships...

She shakes her head. "No, it's not. I would've recognized the hallways of my own primary school. Still... the only person who would know about the Yasogami uniforms would be Kanji-kun."

At least, she thinks by now she would've know had anyone else from Yasoinaba been present.

"We have to find him."

"Yeah," Futaba nods, mouth set in a stubborn line.

A memory of Kanji's that had to do with school. Remembering her own elementary school experiences, coupled with the conversation that she'd had with Kanji and Naoto on the flight back to the Curti Center after dealing with the Chocobo Eater, Futaba has a nasty feeling in her gut. She knows where this might be going, and really honestly hopes she's wrong.

And turning back to that door the teacher had come from earlier, she thinks she knows where to look, too, "Let's start here."
