Crystals have fallen out of the Dream Width in a beautiful meteor shower and scattered all over the world! Due to their origins and mysterious properties, the Curti Center is interested in gathering as many as they can for researching purposes. To incentivize the public in helping out, O'aka has donated a few silver coupons to those top few who collect the most crystals. There's also a rumor that the one person (or more if there's a tie) who collects the most, wins something marvelous and mysterious~

The hunt for these crystals have taken storm across Vaikuntha and they're suddenly worth a lot. It's all anyone talks about anymore! The locals have gone crazy with it! If you weren't interested to begin with, surely the madness that is this new fad has sunk its teeth in. Besides, who knows what the crystals can actually do? Are they gifts? Curses? Dust collectors? Only one way to find out.

Wait 'til he actually sees the movie. He may be surprised to know that he may actually recognize the Inspector...

"Sure! Movie one. If it sucks we go on n' do somethin' else." He chuckled and settled in as well. With a tap of the iMog Glasses, he unequipped the Asterisk and let himself relax in his normal clothing.

"Whadda you suppose they might do with all the crystals, anyway? New Jobs?"

"I'll have to view the selection. Maybe there's something similar to Featherman..." Her face flushed, but she really, really hoped there might be something like it.

She exhaled through her nose. "I hope not. We have plenty of Jobs and the ability to make Custom Jobs; we should focus on them."

He brightened with her suggestion. "Hell yeah! They've gotta have some kinda tokusatsu here, right?"

Imagine moogle tokusatsu. That'd be so rad.

"Yeah, you're right. Those newer ones, though... super weird. I'm pretty good with what I've got though, and I like my friends at the Berserker's Guild." But enough about work.

He scooted over and, without much of a thought, settled to rest his head at her lap. Who needed a tree, anyway?

"I wanna ask 'what else should we do on our day off', but... I like the idea of no plans, just... playin' it by ear. What about you?"

She already imagines the Moogles of Light may have a movie, but considering their attitude during the loops, she didn't want to mention them by name.

"And I rather enjoy meeting up with the other Gunslingers when I have the time." She was considering looking into one of the 'newer' jobs once she finished learning Summoner, but there was no guarantee when she might learn to summon a Legendary Eidolon without the crystal.

Watching Kanji, her eyes grew when he settled himself on her lap. The color in her face wasted little time turning scarlet. Oh, what did she do now?

"... I-I would enjoy that too."

Staring down at him, slowly - almost timidly - did Naoto bring her hand to rest on his head.

Oh, maybe he shouldn't have done that. It just seemed like something couples do, but... maybe it was a bit much?

"Yeah? Cool. I feel like plans, plans, plans have been on the menu for months now. This training I've been doing as a Gentleman... man, I didn't think it'd be so grueling, but it's kinda liberating at the same time."

Her hand settled on his head and he closed his eyes.

"Heh, sorry... s'this weird?"

"Hard work can have its own fulfillment, but I think you already know that." He was a craftsman by trade so she wasn't surprised either that his training managed to keep him engaged.

Her hand proceeded to petting his hair.

"Initially, but... I think I like it."

He smiled. "I mean, once I can get my pants to stop blowin' off when I hit the anvil, I can feel a little more fulfilled, not gonna lie..."

Wait. What??

But the thought was gone with the touch to his hair. His shoulders went slack, ears redder.

"That... that feels nice."

[pishirogane]

"... Perhaps just invest in pants ready to tear away?"

Skip having his actual pants blown off? Though, why does that happen anyway?

"Then I'll keep doing it..."

And her hand combed through his hair this next pass.

He opened an eye, eyebrow quirked. "Do tear-away pants exist? I mean, I guess I could make some, strips of velcro n' all."

He paused. "Eh, or just take off my pants before I work. From what I hear, I'll be too 'overwhelmingly gleaming, magnificent n' glorious with gentleman panache' to really worry about... m-modestooh..."

Pardon him as he melts from the touch.

"Perhaps not here..." But she knew they did back home. Great, now Kanji was making her imagine him leaving for work in immodest attire or just working with an apron. A-Ah, she might need something to drink.

However, having his voice trail suddenly had her blush cool. He seemed to like that so she repeated the action.

He'd completely forgotten what he was talking about, only breathing another sigh from the touch. If she kept this up, she may have him falling asleep sooner than one thought.

"S'gonna be your turn after this..."

He wasn't kidding when he said he was tired. He was relaxing so quickly under just minimal ministrations, but that was fine. He really needed this after all the hard work he'd been doing.

"Mhm, if you're sure..."

He nodded minutely, and sought her other hand to hold. The food and drink could definitely wait- they did that every day, yet they hardly had the time to stop and just be together like this. Who knew what waited for them around the corner?

"Sorry my hair feels weird. I might... stop bleaching, give it a break once in a while."

[pishirogane]

"It's fine, Kanji-kun. You should do what you want... but I will admit, when you don't dye it, it looks softer."

Feeling his hand, she slotted her fingers through his with a faint hum. She was enjoying this private moment - they needed more like it.

"It is softer. My old man was always so jazzed by it; I got Mom's hair and his looks..." He quietly sighed.

"Chin, n'... jawline. Ears..." He was growing quieter as he spoke. Would anyone mind if he just took a little nap here? Would blood still flow to Naoto's legs, or would he be trapping her like this?

The Love Crystals, perhaps recognizing just how precious of a scene this was, made no grand entrance. Two of them simply appeared at their feet when neither of the pair really paying any mind. But they appear now as a reward for such tender moments.

As he mentioned those, Naoto traced them, fingers making sure to go back through his hair again once she circled around his ear. No one would be bothered if he took a short nap; she wouldn't.

And they could get those Crystals later...
