Plot || The Star Wars Vaikuntha Special

What: The race for the crystals is on!!

Crystals have fallen out of the Dream Width in a beautiful meteor shower and scattered all over the world! Due to their origins and mysterious properties, the Curti Center is interested in gathering as many as they can for researching purposes. To incentivize the public in helping out, O'aka has donated a few silver coupons to those top few who collect the most crystals. There's also a rumor that the one person (or more if there's a tie) who collects the most, wins something marvelous and mysterious~
The hunt for these crystals have taken storm across Vaikuntha and they're suddenly worth a lot. It's all anyone talks about anymore! The locals have gone crazy with it! If you weren't interested to begin with, surely the madness that is this new fad has sunk its teeth in. Besides, who knows what the crystals can actually do? Are they gifts? Curses? Dust collectors? Only one way to find out.

Summons a blinding pillar of golden light that stuns and temporarily blinds foes. The effect is greater against demonic forces and those who use black and illusion magic, dealing moderate damage.
"Dewey! Louie!" one of the Lalafells calls out through the light. Though it might be hard to see, it's the one in red armor, pulling down his helmet. "Go!"
"Yeeeaaah," another one screams, the blue one in mage robes. "Let's dance, Heroes!"

Passive skill. Allows to use elemental spells on up to five targets at once, but reduces their potency by 70%.
"I wasn't ready!" the last one complains, trying to balance his tome in one hand.

Afflicts a single target with the poison status, reducing their health mildly each turn.

The magic coalesced and she coughed, feeling thrums of venom move through her system. Fine. To hell with it.
Her eyes narrowed as she snapped her fingers. She focused a Counterspell on the tome-wielding fool, inflicting Silence.

Wrath of Heaven inflicts damage, stuns and floods Sephiroth's vision all at the same time. Immediately his Illusionist-granted Levitation is nullified and he ends up at ground level with a knee in the sand, pinching at the bridge of his nose while blinking wildly, attempting through sheer will to dispel the flaring dots from his sight.
On the defensive, [Teleport Mastery] is used so Sephiroth can get distance enough away to quickly pop a potion and get his senses back together before the next turn. Now all stealth is gone, a Job Switch (Illusionist -> Jenova's Chosen) also seems prudent.

With a roar, he attacks the Templar with a [Savage Strike], hoping to instill a little terror of his own in the annoying little beast.

Maul strikes out against Huey, but the Lalafell stands his ground with shield held high like the attacks don't bother him at all. He seems to be made of harder stuff than this.

"Keep them at a distance!" he barks to his brothers.
Meanwhile, Silence doesn't seem to have any effect on Louie either. Well, except to tick him off. He scoffs. "Did you- How dare you?"

While all these theatrics are going on, Dewey hangs back.

Job Change. She was poisoned, and now she was blind. Guess she had to be a White Mage. Again. She really had to address the supreme shortage of healy types in this place, but seeing as this was a group of three, she couldn't complain.
"Going on support! This must be what they meant when they claim white mages are always on-call."

Committed, he's up into the air a couple more feet and then comes down quickly, Masamune leading with [Dash] towards Huey; aiming to take the lalafell at an off-angle as between himself and Maul this should be child's play.

Seeing Sephiroth charge Huey, Maul forms a plan. That shield is very annoying, and it blocked Maul's first attack. Might be he could withstand Sephiroth's attack too.
Time to deprive him of it. With a flick of his arm, Maul uses [Force Mastery] attempts to deprive Huey of his shield by telekinetically yanking it from his grip, sending it flying...well out of usable range. If nothing else it should create an opening for Sephiroth to get in an attack.
