Crystals have fallen out of the Dream Width in a beautiful meteor shower and scattered all over the world! Due to their origins and mysterious properties, the Curti Center is interested in gathering as many as they can for researching purposes. To incentivize the public in helping out, O'aka has donated a few silver coupons to those top few who collect the most crystals. There's also a rumor that the one person (or more if there's a tie) who collects the most, wins something marvelous and mysterious~

The hunt for these crystals have taken storm across Vaikuntha and they're suddenly worth a lot. It's all anyone talks about anymore! The locals have gone crazy with it! If you weren't interested to begin with, surely the madness that is this new fad has sunk its teeth in. Besides, who knows what the crystals can actually do? Are they gifts? Curses? Dust collectors? Only one way to find out.

Grunting in annoyance, Maul changes tacks. Engaging [Force Mastery] he tosses the Darksaber at the large crowd of geezards still before him, guiding the blade with the Force as it cuts a wide arc around him, spinning through the air, before returning to his hand. The [Saber Throw] is a simple but effective tool for crowd-cleaning (though his saberstaff would have been even more useful a tool).

Maul takes out 35 geezards! Great work!

He gets 35 gil and not a single Chrome Crystal somehow. :( This is some tough luck over here. Maybe if he went over the edge and chained some attacks together, he'd find better luck?

No sooner has the Darksaber returned to Maul's hand that he is back into the fray with another [Savage Strike] at another group of Geezards, the black blade flashing as it carves through them. That done, he pivots and tries another [Saber Throw] at a different group, tossing the lightsaber in another arc, and then for good measure, turns to the opposite side as the blade scythes its way through the geezards, using his [Force Mastery] to pick up one unfortunate geezard and toss it bodily into another crowd to maximize the chaos and bloodshed.

Maul takes out 55 geezards! Getting better!

He gets 55 gil and finally 1 Chrome Crystal.
