Suzaku and Lelouch in A-01

[ After the disaster of just minutes before, Lelouch just watches both of his half sisters leave. He's still in shock. Lelouch doesn't feel it, though the hand cradles his cheek. When it got there, he doesn't recall.

He's just staring at the open door. Unsure how to process this. Actually, the reality is that his brain hasn't caught up with him yet. He isn't processing this. Which is probably going to cause a crash here in a couple of moments. ]

Library - Closed to Lelouch

[It isn't particularly difficult to find Lelouch; he is a creature of habit, and most of those habits centre on maintaining an intellectual advantage. So when Cornelia fails to find him at his house, she heads immediately to the library, and when he's nowhere to be found in the main area, she checks the private study rooms, finding him in the one furthest away, nearly hidden behind a stack of books. Whether he means for those books to serve as a shield or not is irrelevant; without so much as knocking, she steps inside, closing the door behind her.]

We need to talk.

[A statement, not a request.]

[ He had given the entire situation a day's rest. Cornelia was a better source of comfort than he could ever be. But he was worried, and wondered how she was doing. Living in the same house had made avoiding anything difficult, and he had made the mistake of falling asleep -- he had dreamt of the SAZ massacre, of her dying. But instead of Lelouch shooting her, she had come for him and his own geass effect had... won. He had snapped her neck and left her amid the bodies like a broken doll.

It was a familiar nightmare, but one that never failed to shake him.

He would have to apologize, if he had disturbed her.

He finds her in the small kitchen, and feels his posture stiffen, even though he offers a small smile. ]

There is some tea in the cupboard, but not much else, I'm afraid.
