Raise a Glass [OPEN]
Who: The XV Cast and You!
When: June 6th
Where: Curti Center, Jiminy's Juicery (bar)
What: After saving innocents from the Dream Width, some people just need a drink.
Warnings/Notes: Alcohol consumption, possible violence, whatever people do in bars.
Their first foray into the search and rescue business in the Dream Width had been intense, to say the least. Stressful, heartbreaking, exhausting, and enlightening were other words some might use to describe the experience. After a night of rest and a day to somewhat sort things and people out, the next evening brings about a mighty need to head to the local tavern. Some drink to forget, some drink to remember, some drink to relax. There are even representatives of the Bard's Guild providing live music. You can try to make a request, but chances are they don't know your foreign songs.
Maybe you were invited by one of the excitable young men from Lucis, or maybe you came on your own. There's enough room in the bar for quite a few people, so long as they're of age. Sit right at the bar, or pull up chairs around a table, the choice is yours.
[OoC: Make your own toplevel or tag around. Please put content warnings as necessary. Have fun!]

"...Okay." He answered, letting himself be guided to a seat.
"I'm just going-" He waved his hand. Prompto didn't know this person but they seemed nice, at least nice enough to not let him do something incredibly stupid. "Hi."
no subject
"It wouldn't be a good idea." He adds in case he just accidentally planted the seed of an idea.
no subject
"I was...well I don't know where I was going just, moving around I guess."
He was trying to get away from his demons, and running away literally would be an excellent way of dealing with them, but fortunately he didn't remember that idea, because honestly he was too drunk to be out running.

He traces the wings in the air with his fingers. Sometimes he feels a bit guilty about how they dwarf the other buildings. Then he remembers he has the Lion far away from Zarkon.
no subject
"I mean hi. Prompto. I'm Prompto. That's me." He pointed at himself and he was clearly somewhere between tipsy and outright drunk and probably shouldn't be wandering around too much.
"Can I touch your machine?"
That was probably an inappropriate question.
no subject
He could tell him about a lot of little tech things as well. He'd seen many things in Noctis memory but...he shies away from that. There are some things he doesn't want to know. Or...would rather forget.
no subject
If Shiro was looking for intelligent questions, that would have to wait until he wasn't drunk.
Shiro would be glad to have missed Prompto's memories in that case, there were horrible things in his, things that were haunting him at the moment.
no subject
"Speaking of that car. I still can't believe it flies. I can tell how it probably does but...that's still really impressive."
no subject
Prompto leaned in and whispered, just slightly less lower than his normal voice.
"I'm scared of heights, that car flying is fun for like a second, then you look down and it's like holy shit I'm gonna fall." He babbled.
Then he pouted. "I'm not allowed to drive the car. It wasn't my fault the car broke."
no subject
Probably better not to bring that up he thinks as he takes a sip of his own drink.
no subject
"And it wasn't my fault it just...sputtered and stuff and we had to push the car, I just happened to be driving. I think it was Noct's fault." It really wasn't.
thought I hit this back
Shiro takes a swallow of his drink and thinks about that. "But tech is...more advanced in my day so, I probably wouldn't know what went wrong either."
no subject
He hummed a little. "I know a lot about tech. I mean, normal tech not cars. And Empire tech." He didn't want to think about that.
no subject
He thinks about the silent Lion asleep in his backyard. “I can only teach you a little about Altean technology. I’m limited to maintenance and repairs. The one to talk to would be Hunk. As for the Black Lion...only its maker knows how to build one. He’s not here and hasn’t been around for ten thousand years. When it powers back up I can still show you the inside of the cockpit.”
no subject
"I wanna see the lion." Prompto agreed. "Did you show Noct? Noct loves cool stuff like that. He's such a dork. Don't let him forget it."
no subject
You can learn so much by hands on action. “We can rope Noctis into it too. I bet he’d enjoy it.” If nothing else it would be something fun for the four of them that isn’t wrapped up in all the complicated things in their lives.
no subject
"Build a car? Never thought of something like that." He would probably enjoy that, to a certain extent. He'd always had an affinity for Empire gear, things he knew but didn't know how he knew them.
"Noct would enjoy it, I think. Or he'll supervise or something." He grinned.
