Okuyasu approached Nozomi with five cupcakes: chocolate, strawberry, and chocolate with strawberry frosting. He would be fine with parting with one of those.

"Hey, you gotta try one of these before they run out!" Nozomi looked tired, and sweets were always the answer.

“Huh? Ooh, that does look good!” Nozomi said, peeking up at the sweets. “I really should! Where are they?”

[righthandstand]

"On the second table, behind the layer cake. They're easy to miss!" He decided to go with the choco-strawberry and took a bite when finished.

“Awesome! Give me a moment and I’ll be right back!”

With that, Nozomi hopped up to go and get those sweets. A few moments and a few balancing acts later, Nozomi was back with her own plate of sweets.

“Whew! Got there in time!”

Okuyasu found his seat at the table. Someone else had already claimed it, but they weren't there, so it was all his now. He was scraping the remaining chocolate cake stuck to the wrapper.

"They should do this-" he crumpled the paper, "-every time before we do somethin' important."

"It sounds nice, but I think that would be too much." Nozomi said, pondering the suggestion. "I mean, I know they see us as big heroes, but..."

[righthandstand]

"...I mean, not the wedding. That'll get boring after a while. We should just have a lot of food and chill before we have to leave."

It made the whole thing hyped up, like it should be.

"O-Oh! Ahaha, right!" Nozomi said, laughing as she realized her mistake. "Yeah, just having a lot of food and relaxing is probably the best..."

[righthandstand]

She didn't look cheered up by the mounds of sweets available to her. Okuyasu had to try a different tactic. "You doin' okay?"

"I'm sorry." Nozomi said, letting out a small sigh. "All of these loops and trying to fix things has just exhausted me. I've probably memorized how many times I've done certain things and how they went at this point!"

[righthandstand]

"Man, but you did way better than me. I kept gettin' lost on what we did and didn't do. Like, did I have to fight some monsters? Did we already talk to the dancers?" He tapped his head, as if he forgot to do something again. "It's like a school test. Once it's over, you don't gotta worry anymore, but it's still the worst thing to study for."

"Oh, I know that feeling! I thought I wouldn't have to deal with things like that again!" Nozomi admitted. She took a few bites of her sweets to try to get her mind off of that.

"Though... I have to thank you for checking up on me."

"Hey, it's nothin'." Nozomi was a cute girl and Okuyasu didn't want her to be upset. He didn't dare say that out loud, though. "Besides, it's kinda boring just watching the grownups stand around and talk."
