Anniversary Event: Defying Fate

What: The Heroes of Light relive the three days leading to the Apocalypse, again and again. With this come the chance for them to save the world, but also to explore opportunities otherwise out of reach. Will they find a way to save the world and prevent this terrible fate from coming true?

Ravus glares at the treacherous trees around them, but approaches the stone when Gladio calls him.

"Yes, I can make it out," he says, the link formed with the Eidolons allowing his brain to translate the message into something he can understand.

He reads the inscription out loud for Gladio's benefit.

"I see no 'fairies' here, but if we find where they lie, the riddle could help. Shall we destroy the stone?"

"I haven't seen anything that looks like a fairy either. And this forest is pissing me off," Gladio growls. He is not amused by the riddle but commits it to memory anyway - like Ravus says, it could be useful once this stupid rock is gone.

"Let's turn this to dust!" Keeping his blade in its sheath, not wanting to damage it, Gladio swings mightily at the rock with a powerful downward stroke. At least this is something he can take his frustration out on.

Ravus will let Gladiolus provide brute strength. He waits for the first blow to fall on the stone, then takes aim with the tip of his rapier blade at the cracks. He doubts it needs to be pulverized, unless Gladio really needs to vent some anger, but he does want to make sure it at least cleaves in twain.

Traveling into the forest to search for missing kids was a no brainer. Someone needs to find them, to bring them home, and as far as she's concerned, they're just as qualified as anyone else.

Still, she's trying to be smart about this. For the time being, she's content to tag along behind Gladio and Ravus. She's not a summoner so she's probably not going to be very useful in that regard, but she's determined to document as much of this as she can. Which means, basically, trying to memorize the route they're taking and snapping an exorbitant number of photos of anything that looks important.

There's no guarantee that they'll still be there if things reset again, but it's still worthwhile.

"Okay, but where do fairies lie?" And is that lie as in resting or lie as in being dishonest? More explanation would be wonderful. She does make a point of memorizing what the stone says, and snaps a couple photos just to be on the safe side.

And then she stands back when the boys decide to smash things up. Sure, she could probably help, but this seems more like their thing - and they're both a lot bigger than she is. Probably best to stand back out of the way.
