EVENT || Know Your Heart
Who: Open
When: Feb 9-13
Where: all over the planet
What: Emotions run high this time of year, but this is ridiculous!
Warnings/Notes: Extreme emotions. The OOC Post can be found here.
Beginning on the 9th and escalating daily, strange things are happening around Vaikuntha. It's not just love in the air...it's all emotion. Well, for you, it is just one, hightened to an absurd degree. Only Heroes of Light (the ones from the Dream Width and Native OC characters) feel the strange enhancement of feelings. The locals do not seem to be affected, except with a normal amount of confusion, which is to be expected. Hopefully someone can snap the Heroes out of it!
[Feel free to start your own top levels here and tag around to help your fellow heroes overcome the enhanced emotion they are experiencing. How? That is up to you! Talk to them, fight them, elicit other emotions through interpretive dance, serve up some delicious food so they can eat their feelings. Get creative. No one in Vaikuntha seems to know what it will take to snap them out of it, so it may take some trial and error to find a method that helps the Hero in question.]

There's something strange going on, but Naomi couldn't put her finger on it. More people were coming into the hospital today, but nothing was physically wrong with them - most of them; there were some normal, actually ill or injured patients, but some were not... right in other ways.
Didn't seem entirely mental either. Just emotionally-based? Seemed harmless for now, but would it remain that way? She wrote that down in her notes with a question mark, wondering what might have brought this one. What were the early signs and what brought on the strange infliction. There's not enough information to attempt treatment, just make people wary of it.
Something to ponder later. Looking up as her door opened, she nodded, "Come in."
B. February 10th
Waking up was bizarre. Something was off, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Not illness, but she had a feeling - a curious feeling. Hm, she wouldn't permit it to distract her from work today or taking Little Mog out. The small Moogle was excited by the prospect of Valentine's Day and perhaps getting chocolate-covered kupo nuts while they looked pink and festive.
Eh... garish to her, but if Little Mog wanted that.
... Weird how her eyes were wandering to the few Zoras about. That wasn't like her; nor was accidentally nudging anyone with her legs. "Oh... excuse me."
C. Wildcard
[OOC: Wildcard option for the later days. Naomi has a... particular target of flirty affections that she's typically more reserved about and her monster side might influence her to become a very determined arachne to reach them. Various levels of Yandere might spring up if said person is figured out.]
B
Did she desire a bit of chocolate cake? Yes please.
Did she desire that pair of shoes she saw in the window, that was maybe a tad expensive? Of course she did. Now they were hers.
As she took a seat on a bench and wiggled her toes in her brand new shoes that likely cost fairly close to a half a month's pay, she saw someone walking by. Oh my, she knew this one.
"A few days to the Big One and you're flying solo? No, no, no... that won't do."
no subject
Oh right, she'd mention something about Big One and flying solo.
"If you're talking about Valentine's Day, I don't participate. Last time I had to celebrate, there was a virgin sacrifice."
As always, there were more details, but the doctor wasn't going to talk about them... not while Little Mog was flitting around and partaking in the upcoming celebration decor.

"Nooo no no. Please sit with me. Take a load off. I'd adore the company."
no subject
"Hm... I'm surprised you're not away with Papyrus right now." But she did sit down as best she could beside the tiefling woman. "Or are you taking the time to prepare for the Big One with him."
no subject
She lounged.
"So! Is the web involved in things other than catching food~?"
no subject
... Might become her business.
"It could be."
She knew what Madhuri was implying, but there were other normal uses.
no subject
She wagged a finger. "I'd love to get some new... bardic inspiration."
no subject
Though, that hesitation still said otherwise. ... Huh, how would those relations work with a skeleton? Was there sensation in his bones? Something she would ask Madhuri when she wasn't behaving so strangely.
"Well, unless you can make your whip stick as my web can, I don't think I can offer much else."
no subject
A 'give-give' motion.
no subject
"Yes. ... Also, if you want some, I can spin it."
no subject
She paused, tapped her cheek.
"People ask a lot, you know. Considering he's a skeleton and all."
no subject
Until some bizarre accident happen that might have them sent to her office, but they would have better sense.
no subject
"Medical reasons, huh? Well... between you and me..." Gotta check left, check right. Okay. Coast was clear.
"I have no idea how intimacy would work. I think saying the word 'sex' would kill him, all told. But it's been overwhelmingly nice not to have to worry about a man trying to get into my pants. ~Flirting isn't consent~, you see. That doesn't seem to click with some people..."
no subject
"He does seem a little innocent for the discussion of sex. And yes, I know what you mean... flirting isn't consent, but it's a great way to disarm someone."
no subject
She put her chin in her hands.
"Though I won't lie, my imagination sure entertains it."
no subject
And again, Naomi can only shrug.
"You're someone who already knows and enjoys the engagement. What is intercourse if not another way for two or more people to bond when participating in it together? It's something you want to share with him, too."
no subject
She shrugged. "I think Valentine's Day will be a day of having a few sips of vice. If he's up for it, anyway. Though now I'm curious: You look like the martini sort, if not a wine sort. Confirm or deny."
no subject
She nodded at the consideration. "Go with wine then. Do you know if he would prefer something sweeter or go for dry? Hm... I suppose I enjoy deep red wines, and I'm not really one for sweet cocktails. Sake is usually my drink however if I can find some."
no subject
"Nakagawa! They've got the best sake. Baiken... before she found a way back home, she introduced me and I've been hooked since."
She stood and dusted off. "Well now I need to hit up a shopkeep and find a nice array of wines, then seek out my bony beau!"
no subject
Though, going to places she doesn't need to? Yeah, it would be a while.
"Alright. Good luck... and if all else, you and Papyrus can have a private wine tasting for two."
B
"Oh no, that's all on me. You seem a little lost today, doctor; if you need an escort, we're closing in one the best time to find one."
Dante seems a bit more restrained than usual. Courteous, but perhaps he's learned how to better avoid annoying Naomi after previous interactions.
no subject
... Wait, wait? Conscious decision or not, most of her eyes come to focus on the zora that she's bumped into... or had he bumped into her? Did it matter who bumped who right now? Doesn't matter right now.
"Hm... I might be open to one. Between keeping up with an overexcited moogle and avoiding the crowd... perhaps providing some company..."
