The Tantarian
Tyzias, however, appears to care very little for any of that. If anything, it seems to be making her more angry. Steam is practically shooting out of her ears as she slams her fist on the desk of the quaking head clerk--although the effect of her shouting is somewhat diminished by how she keeps her voice low out of respect for the library staff. Nerds will be nerds, after all. "What do you mean there aren't any ruins?"
"T-t-t-they were razed a long, long time ago!" the lalafell squeaks, holding her hands up. "Before the library was even built! We just used the foundations, I swear!" Tyzias opens her mouth to give an incoherent groan of bottomless despair, but the librarian interprets the gesture as the precursor to more yelling and interrupts the troll. "Bu-but wait! I, um, we might have something that can help. There's this, uh, this book called The Tantarian that we recovered from the ruins it's in the eidolon section it can probably help you please don't hurt me!"
Tyzias blinks owlishly, then shrugs. "...aight. Let's get moving."

Nonetheless, he glances around, taking in the endless sea of books surrounding them. So massive, and so full if incredible secrets, no doubt! Even those unrelated to their quest.
He'd have to pay it another visit later.
"WELL THEN! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AM PRIMED TO UNCOVER THIS ELUSIVE BOOK! LET'S ALL LEAVE NO PAGE UNTURNED!!!"
He points dramatically to the shelves, regardless of impracticality.

It wouldn't have to take long, considering that this was a library. Minimus approached the spooked Lalafell with his arms resting at his sides. "I apologize if we have caused you distress. Where would the library catalog be kept?"

She's definitely coming back here when she has a week's end or so to spare and Vaikuntha doesn't currently require saving.
As Minimus works to calm the librarian, she places a reassuring hand on Tyzias' shoulder as she can see her frustration is getting the better of her. "Try to relax, Tyzias." She says encouragingly, also keeping her voice low (it seems that will only really be an issue for Papyrus, really). "We'll get it done."

Who knew, though. Ramuh didn't talk much.
Feeling like it's never too soon to start looking, he activates Treasure Hunter and skims the shelves around them for anything useful.

"Where do we start, though?" she asked. "I mean, outside of the location they gave us..."

Patches is fronting this time around to let his headmates rest up. It's just been one trip after another lately.
"I could try asking Ramuh, buuuut... Leviathan was pretty insistent about making us figure out the Mad'ni Shrine ourselves, remember? I can't see the old man just handing us the answer either." He gives an impish grin. "I've been to the Eidolon section before though! C'mon, let's go have a looksie!"

The rules on Legendary...? Well, there were just five. Back out of her thoughts after most of the discussion going on, following Uendo sounded like the best course of action.
"Alright. After you, Toneido-san."

That one was puny compared to this mess.
"How does anyone find anything in this hedge maze of books??" He says, scanning along the shelves for the section names.

He deposits an entire picnic basket with a checkered blanket on the ground, smiling with sheer resolve. Of course. He brought snacks for everyone.
"You guys are ok with hamburgers, right?"
Just being in his Presence, the whole group feels Inspired. +5% defense!

He would rather not waste his energy by wandering around the library. He is a robot or direct action, of looking up the facts before rushing into a task. He’d catch up with the rest of the group once he had found the catalog page for the mentioned tome.

Once he overheard 'linkshell' being used, Sephiroth took out his Slate and started to look for an option on the device which might have opened up now that they were inside the library itself. Having a reference available would cut down any time-wasting significantly. Of course, the eidolon section is what they were looking for but who knew if there might be other sections which he'd make a note to perhaps come back and visit privately at a later date.
In this company, despite Klonoa's presence, Sephiroth was already keeping himself a controlled distance from the others. At best, he figured they'd all be a distraction; the thought of having to spend an hour just to travel to the correct section was irritating enough.
For now, he'll just stand back and somewhat lazily look through his Slate.

"If it's got anything like that decimal system thing, we might have a clue," he quips towards Kuja. "As for the section...I presume our leader here--" He jerks a thumb towards Tyzias. "--has a map of some sort to get us there."
He then glances over to Klonoa. He seems rather young, but since this place is seemingly free of monsters... "Just make sure they don't spoil. I got a few supplies on me as well, just in case. Been here before once, so I personally know how long it can take to find something in this place."

He glances over at Cor. "D'you think we'll really be here that long? Ah, crap. Should I have packed a lunch?"
no subject
"This'd probably be a bad time to mention that the last time I visited a magical library I got shunted about thirty years back in time."

She's also pulling out her iMog to oin the linkshell when Vimes speaks up. "It sounds like there's a story there, Officer!" She says jovially. Time travel, huh? That sort of thing only existed in some of the more fantastical stories she'd read growing up. "It must have been quite the experience."

"I might suggest if there's a basement area we could send some people to investigate down there." He also adds. Not everyone in this group looks like they'd be all that helpful in research and the group is big enough that they can afford to split their focus. "We might be able to discover a hidden entrance or a way into deeper ruins that have not yet been discovered."

He pauses, realizing, well. Hover boards are fast, yes, but also potentially imposing and may rumble a bit from the engine. "OH, BUT THAT MIGHT DISTURB THE PEOPLE READING, WOULDN'T IT? DRAT..."
Still worth consideration, at least.

He'd taken to slowly creeping around the aisles in the hopes of finding the section they were looking for.
Unfortunately, the dust had gotten to him. He slapped his elbow over the bottom half of his face to try and stifle what was an alarming sneeze in the first place. Then a miserable sniffle.

"Anybody have a library card for this place...? Otherwise I may be here for a while. Or the rest of my life."
