Tyzias was on the verge of calling up Minimus to draft a formal complaint to the Board of Magical Bullshit Ghosts at this point. Not only had she spent a solid hour recovering from her own bad memory--which put her in an incredibly sour mood--but the little blue bastard kept on mixing up who was supposed to see which memories. Sweet Sufferer, she didn't even know this wiggler.

"I swwwwear, if you drag mmmme into another rando asshole's mmmmemmmmory, I wwwwill find a wwwway to get revenge, no mmmmatter wwwwhatever hoofbeastshit mmmmagical dimmmmension you live on mmmmost of the year," Tyzias grumbles, taking a resentful sip from her mug. "Wwwwhat the hell are those adults doing there, anywwwways? Does your species have sommmme kind of holiday task force for helping wwwwigglers pay tribute to the dark festivity deities?"

"... What?"

Adrien's occupied with the scene for a moment longer that processing the fact someone was talking with so many 'm's hadn't really connected. Or just the fact someone besides the PuPu was there.

Turning his head, he stared at the new arrival, not entirely sure what to make of them, but then looking back. "There's no dark deities today. I just wanted to help putting the star on the tree."

"Huh. So this isn't your hive, then?" Tyzias takes another sip of her mug, squinting at the adults. It'd taken her a while to adjust to how apparently the mature examples of most species did not, in fact, get immediately deployed off planet to prevent a catastrophic (for the authorities) rebellion. "Wwwwho're the adults?"

"Hive?" He doesn't understand what she means. Well, if it was important, she would explain, right? Looking back towards the scene, he watches his past self get picked up by his mother - of whom he's almost the spitting image of if it weren't for much shorter hair.

"They're my parents."

Tyzias stares at Adrien blankly. That was new. Maybe some kind of cultural phenomenon that she hadn't had time to research? Yeah, that must be it. "Wwwwhat the fuck are... parents?" she asks, unsure of the pronunciation.

Please forgive her, Adrien. She's new to this whole human-ing business.

Now Adrien gives her a surprised look. That's not a question he's been asked before, but he could give at least a textbook answer.

"Parents are adults who have children and raise them. Usually, it's a father and mother like my parents, but there are some families with two fathers, families with two mothers, or families with just one. Even then, a parents doesn't have to be related to a child to raise them; they just have to care about them and make sure they're ready for adulthood themselves."

"...second question. Wwwwhat are children? I mmmmean, I can mmmmake an educated guess, but I wwwwant to mmmmake sure." Tyzias stares at the adults suspiciously. It took a long time to disable her fight-or-flight response when she found out that most people on Vaikuntha were adults, but the fact they were apparently allowed to raise children raised even more flags. "Howwww the hell are they assigned to each wwwwiggler, though? Is it randommmm selection? Or is it like the trials?" she mutters, mostly to herself.

"Assigned? I mean, if it's an adoption, there's some paperwork and the parents usually pick, but..."

But that's not what she's asking. She's asking what a child - well, what children - was. And he has no idea what to even tell her... for a moment. "Children are offspring. And parents usually don't adopt. They... have a baby themselves... you know, reproduction? The only trial would really be my parents' whole courtship, but... yeah."

"So. Let mmmme get this straight." She takes a sip from her mug, thing. "Twwwwo people fuck. Their genetic mmmmaterial mmmmixes. One of themmmm gets pregnant. And they have to take care of a screammmming wwwwiggler together." Apparently, Tyzias cares not one whit about the innocence of children. She stares at the couple with an odd expression on her face. "Mmmmakes mmmmore sense than having actual animmmmals take care of wwwwigglers, I guess. Wwwwhat's it like, knowwwwing your ancestor?"

"... Yeah, that's pretty much it."

Thank goodness he didn't have to explain anything. Like, he didn't know how much she knew or how much she might want to know and he didn't think he'd be ready to explain. "I love them both if that's what you want to know. They make sure I stay safe and healthy while also making sure I grow up to be a decent person."

Tyzias looks... wistful, almost, as she observes the holiday tradition on display. "Kinda like a lusus, then. Although I'mmmm gonna take a shot in the dark and say that they normmmmally don't teach you self-defense and give you lessons on the hemmmmospectrum." Made her miss bearmom. A little bit. Not a lot, really. Shut up, she isn't holding back tears. Damn this sentimental Starlight disease.

"Not normally, but I did take fencing and martial arts when I got older. Also, we don't have a hemospectrum?"

If he's correct in assuming what that was by 'hemo' and 'spectrum' as two separate words. Back with the memory, past Adrien gets some help lifting the star and placing it at the very top of the decorated tree, grinning when it stands stable.

Tyzias snorts, taking another sip from her mug. Oh, how she craved Adrien's innocence. "Good for you, then." She crinkles her brow, cocking her head to the side. "Wwwwait. Wwwwhat happens when twwwwo hummmmans have mmmmultiple progeny, then?"

"Nothing really. They just have multiple kids and the kids would have siblings." He tilts his head slightly at her now. Was it not common or a thing to have siblings where she was from?

"Wwwwhat the fuck is a sibling?"

"It's when two or more kids have the same parent or parents, they're called siblings..."

He's not even going to get into explaining 'brother' or 'sister' because was that even enough to explain sibling?

"Huh. So like a split troll?" Tyzias ponders as she watches the Christmas preparations. It looked... fun. And wholesome. She had to admit, she was a little envious. "Do they share a mmmmind?"

"I... guess?" He's not entirely sure though. Past Adrien's all too happy to hug his mother, laughing as she kisses his cheek. "Siblings don't. Though, some people joke about twins having telepathy."
