Where: The younger Final Fantasy XV house
What: Noctis and Prompto are up to no good. It's unlikely anyone will take that lying down.
Warnings/Notes: None really, shenanigans.

Part of the problem, perhaps, was that things had been rather serious as of late. The mood in the house was somber, and apart from that, Prompto got the idea talking to Keith that they needed to have fun.

Not that he was planning on taking the blame for his mischief, nor would he be doing it alone. Prompto was going to propose it to Noctis, and he didn't think he was going to have to twist his arm too much.

There was likely going to be retaliation, but that was future Prompto's problem.

He grinned. Let the pranks begin!

He snickered slightly. "You were a naughty kid." He paused. "They probably deserved it."

Prompto snapped together a few more blocks. "I'd say maybe he forgot, but he kinda remembers things. Everything. It's spooky."

"Well, they kept making him sad all the time. Someone had to lighten the mood." Even if Regis couldn't react right then and there, he knew it made some small difference. That's all that mattered. "So yeah, I think they did."

Little kid logic: don't question it. He refused to.

Noctis fit a few more pieces together before shrugging. "The walking encyclopedia and almanac..." He sighed. "It was nice knowing us."

"Then you did the right thing." He grinned.

Prompto sighed a little. "Yeah. But maybe we could do something to Iggy so he forgets."

It was a terrible plan. A really terrible plan.

"What if we hide his coffee? He'll be too tired."

"No." The answer is immediate. Forget anything about him doing the right thing as a little kid (and, okay, sometimes a teenager before he moved out, shh). "Remember how he got when they were sold out of Ebony because the road blocks prevented shipments getting through. Baaad idea."

Like, the worst idea. The legit worst. Don't do it, bro. People could die.

"Okay okay, but how do we get to Iggy then?"

He grinned at the reminder. "He was pretty mad then. I remember. I don't think I want to know what'll happen if that's my fault."

Prompto finished that brick and started on the next.

"Put something under a table leg or his favorite chair," he suggests. It wouldn't be enough to have them on the kill list, at least? "It'll leave it just wobbly enough to be annoying."

As he stated that, he finished the current brick he was working on and started another as well. It was almost scary how in sync they were when it comes to prank prep.

"Oooh, that could be good." He mused thoughtfully. "That's so annoying when things aren't level."

Prompto wouldn't be surprised by the synchronicity, they had already had their moments before.

"There's that thing...you know, where you tickle someone with a feather. You see it in movies you know?" Prompto looked up at him.

"I always wondered how the person that wakes up, why they never punch the person that did it."

Hence: almost. That was the key word there, though honestly he's still surprised he managed to hide the prep for another prank from Prompto so far...

"Exactly," he replied with a slight smirk. "And it'll be just enough to get under Specs' skin." It would also be a source of amusement for everyone else. Which, really, was the whole point of him joining in.

The question gave him pause, though. "With the whipped cream hand thing?" Huh. That could be a good one to pull on his old man, honestly. "No idea."

He nodded. "Yeah that one. I always figured that's how people would react, y'know?"

Prompto should be looking at the piles of legos around them, the bricks they're constructing and rethink some of his life choices.

Befriending Noctis was such an influence on his life.

"What else can we do? I mean, this is only going to get one of them right, so what about the other one?"
