[Closed] Those that wait.
Who: Noctis Lucis Caelum, Gladiolus Amicitia, Prompto Argentum, Takashi Shirogane, and whoever in House Voltron that might want to stick their head in.
When: 09/09
Where: Arito outskirts, will update as needed.
What: Gladio and Prompto join their king in his time of waiting and planning.
Warnings/Notes: Uh, nothing so far but swearing will probably be had so pg-13.
He watches the airship approach the city from within the cockpit of the Black Lion. Since his private talk with Keith in the early hours of the morning. He had brushed aside his thoughts of staying back and letting the team be lead by Keith. They'll stand equally at the top. He will only step in if he feels another view need to be presented. Together they'll be a united force that paves the way to the future.
It Keith vanishes, a thought that makes his heart threaten to crack at the thought he will be there to keep the team moving forward. Black rumbles as he steers the beast back towards the house. He lets his mind stay blank as he navigates a path through the desert. He wishes they could fly.
As he nears the house the glimmer of the yellow barrier surrounding the Yellow Lion casts pale gold light into his displays. Shiro gently pulls back on the controls to slow Black to a trot. He guides the massive metal beast into its usual space in time to see the new arrivals approaching the house.
He hits the comlink to public and his voice rolls through the speakers to project outside. "Sorry if I surprised you. Give me a moment to do a systems check then I'll be out." Black's eyes flare with yellow light as it lays its head on the ground with jaws open wide. Shiro emerges and walks down the ramp. "Good to see you, Prompto. And nice to meet you, Gladio."

"Isn't that lion cool?"
He sighed happily, because they are seriously cool and he grinned at Gladio. When Shiro came out he waved again, a little awkwardly, because well, hi he already said hello.
"N-Nice to see you again!" He said cheerfully.
