Pidge could, admittedly, be a little reckless at times. And sure, she was confident enough in her own abilities to gauge when it was appropriate to do so. But sometimes she didn't stop to think things completely through.

This... might have been one of those times. But honestly, she was more than a little excited about the prospect of mapping out these tunnels, and she just didn't want to be over-cautious.

But for the most part, she'd had very little trouble so far. It was slow going, but there was no real need to rush it. And they were less likely to run into trouble if they didn't go rushing in.
