Life exploded, sorry
[He nods once, combing back over what he knows in a vain attempt to find anything else. But what he does remember makes him pause.]
...actually, there's one last thing to note. If you're bound to something...this may hold true it may not. In my present time, I shouldn't be able to pilot the Black Lion. But here I still can. I think because of the time it came from.
Before I was no longer its pilot.

I've noticed something similar. Noctis does not have the powers afforded to his bloodline on Eos, and two who should be dead live here.
[He feels no need to go further into that. They are not his tales to tell.]
Can there only be a single pilot for your lion? You said you were resuming your route here, so you are presumably still capable of performing your duties.

The Lions are suppressed here. We still have our psychic links between us but, they can't fight or fly. And yes, there's normally only one link between a Paladin and Lion.
[He pauses, thinking how to word it then nods to himself.]
I'm more their commander now than a fellow paladin. Keith is the present leader.

That seems strange. This world nullifies our abilities, but it has given you back an ability you had lost. There seems little rhyme or reason behind it.
Still, I am sure commandership suits you. Competence is a rare commodity, and it should be used to its best advantage. [Best not to waste talent on the front lines, is what he diplomatically does not say.]
