"Hm," Ena's whole pride and identity was based on her innate magic. Having it being stripped from her upon coming to Vaikuntha was like waking up one day without legs. Or fingers. And so it felt like an insult to her very being, and for a moment she felt like arguing but-- no, no. This was a state dinner. Appearances were of the utmost importance. A polite smile crosses her lips.

"It is as you say, though," she says slowly and deliberately, delicately carrying a neatly cut portion of vegetables to her lips. "We all who had great magical powers in our native lands have been stripped of our privileges upon coming to Vaikuntha, and it is a tragedy indeed." She glances over to Azusa. "But those who came from worlds without magic now have the opportunity to reach the great heights we once held dear. And we have the opportunity to build our repertoire anew, or even take a new direction entirely." She smiles. "Isn't that delightful?"

"Yeah, it all evens out, so don't worry!" Tidus chimed in, flashing her a cheerful smile smile. "You were great at...music, right? So you're using that to fight, right, and I bet you're great at it. I had no idea what I was doing when I started out, but you're surrounded by people who care about you and can cover your back. Just give it your best."

Yotsuyu shot a quick glare at Kuja. She's no spellcaster, that much was true, but she still couldn't help but feel skeptical about his claim. It was no matter today, though, just something to keep in mind for future encounters.

She turned her attention towards Azusa, as a smiled formed on her lips.

"You'll find in time, child, that if you are talented enough, there's no need for combat. Why fight when you can incapacitate a man before it comes to blows?"
