[She'd actually been a little worried about having to do this, but Monika seemed happy enough, so maybe she'd been worrying for nothing.]
I think it's amazing that you were able to rewrite it after being here for a while. This seems like the kind of place people should be writing poetry about.

A place like Vaikuntha, it existed only in books and movies back home. Sometimes I wonder if that's not all just an illusion!

[Perhaps if she was more inclined to writing poetry for the sake of writing poetry, she might be tempted to do so.]
I'd never even heard of a place like this before coming here. [It's certainly nothing like Paris.] Do you really think so?

You know how technology is nowadays. For all we know this could be some kind of VR illusion and we're trapped in it. [Or a computer program.] That'd make more sense than a transdimensional travel.

You know, that wasn't even something I'd considered when trying to figure this place out. [Marinette is just blinking.] Like a video game? [Because yes, that's the easiest way for her to process something like that.]

[ That's painful just to think about, but that's all so obvious, isn't it? ]
It's not that far-fetched, either. Back where I'm from, a lot of novels and movies have been released with that sort of premise. Not to mention virtual reality technology gets better every year.
