Some Fun While the Sun Shines [Backdated Cast Log]
Who: The FFXV cast and YOU!
When: End of June thru July 12th
Where: Ka'Pandol and the general Yun'Ashia area. Other locations will be added as needed.
What: The FFXV cast relax after the events that occurred in Ka'Pandol, enjoying the summer weather while things return to being peaceful...for now.
Warnings/Notes: References to alcohol/drinking, other warnings will be added as needed.
I - Gods, What a Day... [Ka'Pandol, end of June]
The flooding of the underwater city could've been worse if the otherworlders hadn't agreed to help. Those of House Eos aided their fellow otherworlders wherever they could - either by reaching the underwater levers, or helping with evacuating the civilians.
However, none of them expected to run into this world's version of the one they call 'The Tidemother'. Not many of their number has many happy memories, if any, related to that being. Thus, once the worst has passed and all dangers have passed, one could find them at this bar or that establishment, reaching for a bottle or two.
Though they would not refuse anyone that wish to join their company.
II - Pastoral Rhapsody [Yun'Ashia, July]
Home still calls, though, and it's not long before one could find the Eos House back on the farm that they recently purchase. One would think that it's just yet another chocobo farm, since there seems to be several chocobos living there now. Several sections of land are being tilled for various sundry plants, and the fence that divided the once-two properties is slowly being taken down to formalize the new, larger farm between the two houses. Guests are always welcomed at either of the large homes that they now own...
Dawn training, however, continues to fill the air with the sound of spells cast and wooden weapons clanking loudly against each other. They apologize in advance to any neighbors that might still be within hearing distance of them.
III - Surf's up! [A beach within the Yun'Ashia area, July]
A day does come, though, when they do decide to go back into the water.
Or at least, to the water's edge. The summer weather has finally gotten to them all, and it soon became too much to resist. Thus, on one of the less crowded beaches near Yun'Ashia, one could find a certain group setting up their beach blankets and stripping down to their swimsuits. There's food packed in picnic baskets and plenty of sunscreen thanks to Certain Concerned Individuals. Nothing but fun, sun, and surf...and maybe some additional company. What could go wrong?
IV - Wildcard
((Have something in mind related to any of the Final Fantasy cast? Or just another location/scenario in mind? Here's your option for that; go wild!))

"It's not anything, I'm just stupid." Prompto rubbed the back of his neck, nerves showing in his actions.
"They're good. Promise."
They were, he wasn't. He knew how these things went. If they walked different paths, wouldn't they just forget about him?
no subject
"...there's still something wrong, isn't there?" Sorry, Prom, but he's not letting this go just yet.
no subject
"But it's okay, I don't have to...they don't need to know. I don't want to rush it. Them. You know?"
Prompto didn't know if he was making sense or not. "I couldn't even get my parents to like me."
no subject
Though that didn't matter, not when he hears that last part. All thoughts in his head skids to a halt, much like an old-fashioned record scratching to a stop. "...they what."
...didn't Prompto say that he was adopted at some point?
no subject
"They didn't like me. It's...not a big deal." Prompto tried to brush it off. "And they worked far away so they didn't really have to see me much. Left me in Insomnia. It's...just how it is. It's not their fault."
He shrugged. "And when I turned eighteen..." He mimed sort of like an explosion. "Poof. Gone. Told me to get out of the house and whatever. It's not anything."
no subject
But that line of question skids to a halt as soon as Prompto gets to the last part, and it's all he could do to keep his anger veiled. Barely. "Parents shouldn't act like that around their kids. It's something when they turn around and just kick you out of the house for no damn good reason."
no subject
"We just don't get along."
He shrugged a little bit. "I was an adult, that was the reason, and anyway it wasn't too hard to find a place. It's not like they were living with me or anything, I just couldn't have afforded that place so I found something cheaper...it was two years ago anyway, I just mean we don't talk now."
Prompto didn't know if they were okay, and he didn't know if he cared. He did, however, feel guilty about that.
no subject
He takes a deep breath to keep his hands from itching for his blade so much. "...them tossing you out like that? That was not your fault."
no subject
"They don't like Niffs, a lot of people don't. I get it." It was his fault, he just didn't know when he'd done something so terrible that their relationship didn't take off.
"And it was fine, I was already working part-time and stuff, really it's not as bad as it sounds."
He didn't want Cor to be angry, it was a defense mechanism of sorts, he always wanted to be the peacemaker, even though they probably deserved all the anger. Prompto felt anger towards them, but he couldn't do anything about it.
"Besides, if they were in Insomnia they could be..." He trailed off. He had no idea. They weren't talking to him, and they certainly didn't care if he was alive or not.
no subject
Cor stops to let out his frustrations with a long sigh. "Look, I've known busy parents. I get the whole 'not having enough time with your kids' thing. But what they did is the wrong way to go about it. And..."
He knows one should not speak ill of the dead, if one's a polite person. But by the Six, this is making him more upset than he first expected. And...he's never been that nice to anyone who doesn't earn his respect.
"Your background alone is no excuse to neglect and abuse you like that. It's no different than mistreating a Galahdian - or worse, a fellow Guardsman - in a similar manner. What your parents did...it's not your fault. Not one bit. You...you deserve better than that."
no subject
"I'm sure I wasn't a good kid or something." He murmured. "And anyway, it's fine, it's okay. It's in the past now. I don't-don't have to deal with them anymore."
Prompto wasn't sure he did deserve better, because he certainly hadn't gotten better. He muddled through everything and managed to come out the other side and everything was better.
"Things got better when I made friends with Noct, even if you all terrified me at first."
Security had been no joke when it came to befriending the crown prince.
