Player Plot: Friday the 13th, Part II
Who: CLOSED to those joining the hunt!
When: Friday, July 13th
Where: Camp Ira Lake
What: Event for the Friday the 13th Player Plot! It's time to find and stop the Killer of Ira Lake?!
Warnings/Notes: Mentions of gore, a whole lot of terrible 80's references. Going with a loose tagging order for threads, followed by a tag from the Killer/Bosses/NPCs for each round.
It was an easy ride that morning, and the mood was relatively upbeat. With the weather as nice as it could be for the area, it was almost like they took an early camping trip. Moods turned quiet when they filed into the camp site itself, the distinct laughter and chatter of children gone. The campers were sent home just the previous day, picked up by their parents and told to return the next week if all goes well. Perhaps, in that, it's something of a relief for the group set on hunting down the Killer: No children would find themselves under the blade tonight.
The group then meets the oddly-named counselors who volunteered to stay, all moogles: Mogjon, Mogmarsha, Mogbrian, Mogstacy and Moglucas. A line of fuzzballs, all with an uncharacteristic courage in deciding to stay and help the group learn the lay of the land and perhaps get a head start on their search.

"Someone can heal this, right?" He shoots a quick look to the rest of the group, particularly to Terra. He knows the guy's a Paladin since they've fought together before, but he might not be able to heal. Then he looks to Zelgadis and Komaeda- he knows nothing about their abilities. "Or can we do a Protect spell or something?"
He uses one arm to open the door to the cabinet. Hunk decided to use his size to their advantage, standing to the side so the rest of the group could get to the occupants if necessary, but still close enough to body-block anything approaching. He's not looking in the cabinet at all, because he doesn't want to lose his lunch if he sees a ton of blood.
Instead, his gunblade's barrel begins to glow, with Thunder Bullets readied to fire if something comes through that window. Hopefully the others can get Mogjon and Mogmarsha up and fluttering again, if they're even both in there...

Before he even gets a clear look inside the cabinet, Terra is sending a Cura through the open door. He should catch at least one of whoever's in there.

Even though Terra send out a cura already, Komaeda lifted his staff to use a healing spell as well. It seemed wrong not to, he was a White Mage after all. Perhaps together they could do some good?

Yeah, he didn't think he was that lucky, so he was prepared to hold any attack until he was sure it wasn't a counselor or guard.

"T-Thank you..." She looks around, her pom low and paws on her chest. "M-Mogjon. You didn't find him? The killer's after him! Please, you have to--"
But she's cut off when two moogles come back barreling through the window Zelgadis stands waiting at. One is unmistakably Mogjon, but something's very wrong. There's blood on his paws and some of his torso, and one of his wings just barely remains attached to his back. No wonder he's taking a hard flop to the kitchen's floor, making a large gash visible on his back.
"Ku ku ku..."
Charging through the window next, a moogle with ragged fur and face obscured by a Blitzball mask. His paws somehow firmly grasp a machete larger than it is tall, its blade coated in fresh dribbling blood. He doesn't even seem to pay any attention to the others present in the room as he moves in to strike Mogjon...

"Let's hurry!" Hunk shouts the words at his allies, but there's an uncertain edge to them- is Mogjon even okay?! He's hurt, and hurt bad enough that Hunk can barely stand to look at him, but looking won't keep the poor guy safe.
So instead the Magitek Knight rushes in towards Mogjon, sword raised. Scary as it is, getting the killer's attention seemed like the way to go, even if it might end up with a fancy stab wound for Hunk. All he has to do is distract the bad guy until the healers show up...

Too late to turn back, and anyway, he doesn't need the sword for what he wants to do. Terra activates Cover, redirecting all damage aimed at Mogjon to himself.
Mogila, unsurprisingly, screams. Fluttering to where Terra's greatsword lies abandoned, she tries to lift it, but despite beating her little wings just as hard as she can, it's too heavy for her.

Because at this point both Mogjon and Terra are going to need it.

Terra's Cover successfully takes the attack.
The blade does not impale as intended, but it still penetrates fairly deep into Terra. Growling, the Killer rips his blade out and turns on the Paladin, ready to strike again. Already the distraction had given Nagito enough time to cast a healing spell on Mogjon and follow up with Regen on Terra, aiding his slinking away from the middle of combat.

So Hunk breaks into a strafing run around the killer towards their side. He takes a moment to glance at Mogmarsha's hiding place, hoping her day doesn't get worse. But his gunblade's barrel charges with energy with each step until he aims a Magitek Laser, all but point blank, right into the Killer's machete arm. He can't hurt anyone if he doesn't have a weapon, and if the Killer gets disarmed, well, Mogjon's near-amputated wing means this night is already gonna be unforgettable for all the wrong reasons.
But that said, he's still expecting this to all get worse, because it always does when someone's trying to kill you!
