Nyx was very much a run to the front lines type of person and he'd seen the offensive capabilities. It would do well combined with the ninja job, he thought. He wanted to develop a skillset that would be reminiscent of what he was used to but also help him the most in this world.

He could play around with other options some other time. Right now, he needed to establish a place for himself. Familiarity was a friend.

The lance tips the wrong way as Nyx was gently spinning it and he catches it on its bounce back upwards after he dropped it. Not exactly the most graceful but this weapon was a lot bigger than his normal. There would be a bit of a learning curve.

"Well, they've also had years of practice. Give me a kukri and I can make that look easy too." He was smirking, moving the lance again in the moves he was told to practice. "I can't say I don't wish I could still use them for this but the guy here was pretty adamant about lances and polearms only. I mean, it fits, I guess."

On Eos, Dragoons were known to use them primarily as well. Nyx wasn't about to argue with an expert on what was the best option.

"Nyx, by the way. Nyx Ulric." He stops his practice to offer his hand.
