"Well, as far as I can tell the Warp sends you into an extradimensional space that compresses distance by a fair amount," she explains. "The column is mostly there to keep you from being frozen, since it's basically just void outside of the blue light. As for the extradimensional spaces... I honestly have no clue. Physics and logic probably just threw in the towel as soon as magical tears started resurrecting people and turning them pink."
