"Oh, the lake is really nice, huh? I like to fly over there sometimes!" Like...liked? Maybe it should be past tense now? But he'd honestly liked living in Ryslig, and it was still kind of hard to believe he wasn't going back there anytime soon.

He looked thoughtful at the answer-- "Maybe leaving when you died made you human?" --but paused at the following question. A blink, a stare, a moment's thought. In all the confusion of his new surroundings he'd honestly forgotten about it for a while there, but...the harpy put a claw to his chin, gaze turning upward as if his hunger could be sensed in the air above him somewhere.

"Ummm...mm-hm, I'm still hungry." A slightly uncertain frown - the way he spoke was nonchalant, the lowering of his voice more an afterthought than anything. "I wonder what I should do for that..." His family wasn't here to help him hunt, after all. Maybe he could get his housemate(s) to help? Or do it himself, but. Hmmmm.
