"Bavan? Wait, you were on Ryslig?" He blurted, completely blindsided somehow. He was giving too much credit to the universe in thinking this person couldn't possibly be from the same place he'd been despite having run into Shun on the first day there. "I lived by Lake Dala for a while!"
And somehow this was exciting rather than the horrifying realization it should have been. He'd found some happiness in Ryslig, but it was an otherwise terrible experience and the smile on his face was completely inappropriate.
"I don't know. I died there and woke up here completely human," he shrugged. He then paused, realizing the implications of this person being what he was, and lowered his voice. "Do you still have the hunger?"
