Doki Doki Smashing Club [Open]

Who: Monika and you.
When: June 06th-10th
Where: Curti Center
What: Monika's recovering from the memory event. Amongst other things it involves breaking stuff, stalking and pondering the meaning of life. Just the usual.
Warnings/Notes: N/A

A | Breaking Nerves (June 06th)
Seeking to isolate herself from the crowd, Monika had wandered to a section of the Curti Center where, hopefully, no one would find her. And thus she found herself in a pretty large and abandoned room. With the employees taking care of the new arrivals and her peers relaxing, it was no surprise. The place was lined up with various crates, filled with all sorts of things. Airship parts, maybe? Furnishing? No matter.

"Why..."

Those accursed memories... So many people had seen what she had tried so hard to hide for these past two months. She never should have gone in the Dream Width, she should have seen it coming. She had deleted some of those people... Sure, they were alive now, but it didn't make it any less wrong.

But it was far, far from the worse. Within her memory, she had fallen in love... And those brief instants were the happiest she had ever been. And now that she could no longer be with them? She was feeling empty and dead inside. She hated knowing these moments would never return. Was it love? Or was it just the context of her memory combined together with her lingering loneliness that had brought about these feelings...? She had never really loved the player, after all... But did that mean she didn't love them either?

"Why... Why why why why why..."

Why did it have to hurt so much?

And thus, anyone passing by the abandoned room would hear something smashing onto the ground. As if someone had taken a vase and brutally thrown it across the room. This was soon followed by the sound of crates being kicked open, smashed and beaten senseless. Things were thrown against the walls without a care in the world and someone was obviously making a mess of the place. And indeed, if they stepped inside they would find Monika in tears taking her emotions out on poor inanimate objects.

At least she wasn't deleting people.

B | Not Stalking (June 07th // Housing District)
Monika could be found in the residential district, with a map and a sheet of paper in hand. She had asked a few employees if she could have a list of where everyone currently lived, it would make it easier to coordinate things if ever she was to open a Literature Club here. That and well... She had her own reasons to want to know where everyone lived.

Upon arriving by the B-01 house, she stopped for a moment, took a mental picture of her surroundings and placed a red cross on the map. She didn't stay for too long however, she just needed to know how to easily reach that house... Just in case. She did the exact same thing upon reaching house B-12.

Why would she need to know about these two houses in particular? God only knew...

C | Are You Real? (June 08th)
By the Center's outskirt, Monika had found a stray cat- An actual cat mind you, not some manner of eldritch horror pretending to be a cat and a plant at the same time. She knelt and extended a hand to pet it, but paused a split second before doing so.

"... What's the point?" Her expression grew cold and neutral. Why did a cat bring about such mixed reactions from her? Meanwhile the cat looked like a kid on December 23d who'd just been told Christmas was cancelled. "Are you even real...? Are you just programmed to add some life in this place and make people pet you?"

Her eyes remained fixed upon the poor cat who was so unfairly denied his petting. Cats were selfish creatures anyway, maybe that was for the best.

D | Clubs Are Forever (June 09th)
Forever moping would bring about nothing good. Thus it was about time to work on gathering some of the things she needed for the grand re-opening of the Literature Club. She had gotten permission from employees to take some basic things; pens, markers, papers and a few books. And now there were some books she needed on an upper shelf... Nothing out of her reach if she were to use a chair, but that was the occasion to get to meet more people, or speak with old friends.

Thus by the library's door, she would signal to anyone passing by and greet them with a sweet smile.

"Hey there! Can you help me please?" She rose a finger. "I need a book but it's slightly out of reach for me."

E | Back Home (June 10th // B-10)
After having stayed away from her house ever since they'd returned from the Dream Width, now was the time to bite the bullet and go back. Hopefully that wouldn't be as painful as she'd expected... Her Moogle, Mogika, was with her. Mogika's clothing style had drastically changed in the past two months. She now looked... Pretty much like a carbon copy of Monika in Moogle form. Some would have called it cute. Most would have found it creepy.

Regardless when they entered the house, the moogle was the one to make their presence known.

"Honey, we're home!" Monika froze in her tracks and cast a desperate glance at her Moogle. Whilst her fashion choices had drastically improved, her personality probably would never change. "K-Kupo!"
