Clarus didn't push, either. He nodded to acknowledge Reno's presence, but waited for the younger man to initiate conversation. He himself was a very direct person and preferred to get things over with, but this wasn't his issue to fix. Stil, he recognized the behavior in others that had worked under him in years past, and so it was up to Reno to open the door on this one.
