Reno wasn't sure if this was the place or time, but he did owe Ignis some explanation eventually. He'd walked up just in time to hear Ignis' words.

"To be fair, you could make the case we shouldn't be here, either," Reno pointed out as he sat across the table from Ignis. "But since the universe already stomped all over that..."

He raised his glass to finish his idea.
