For the most part, Pidge had been pretty content to allow Red to do most of the (figuratively) heavy lifting. He seemed to be excited enough for the both of them, and she still wasn't quite sure how she felt about this kind of thing, so it probably worked out perfectly.
Plus, he just seemed like a natural. Even the little slip-up right at the beginning hadn't slowed him down all that much!
That thought was effectively derailed by the ground starting to rumble, and Pidge leaned forward in her seat to get a better look at the action.
She watched as the arena reformed itself right in front of her eyes, and then things were moving pretty quickly after that. It occurred to her that she might be better at this if she had the slightest idea of what any of the current contestants could even do, but Pidge was nothing if not good at improvising.
Or something.
"I'm not entirely sure what Corrin just did, but it was certainly electrifying~ Eh~" She glanced over at Red expectantly. Clearly, she should never be allowed to do this.
Either way, she's a little more focused on watching the action than spitting out witty commentary. Couple that with the fact that she just didn't know a whole lot about any of them, and it was no wonder that she was being a little quieter than people might expect.
Truly, she was on the edge of her seat as the battle raged on.
