The houses of the oddly twisted suburb are burned-out husks, rubble litters the street, hulking robots that some may recognize from the Tantarian boss fight patrol the skies, raining missiles indiscriminately on the neighborhood, two moons (one green, one pink) hang in the sky, and the ceaseless, pounding rain... is dissolving the grass?
That's right, two STAGE HAZARDS have appeared! -Standing exposed in the rain with no protection will deplete your health, due to its acidic nature and the fact that the individual drops have enough force behind them to sting! -The drones in the sky above will enter the fray if they notice you! Beware their missiles!
Madhuri and Ultra Magnus begin in different portions of the remains of the shopping district. Full of malls and cramped, clustered-together buildings, the district has plenty of cover from the hazards, but it's full of dangerous twists and turns that somebody could easily hide behind!
Bowser and Kuja start in the stickball arena, which overlooks the shopping district and has a clear starting view of their teammates, but the wide-open arena also leaves them in clear view of one another, the rain, and the drones! Will you fight it out in the arena, or go help your comrades?
