[Gladio isn't a trained Shield for nothing - he absolutely notices the way this Moogle's pom-pom trembles and keeps his eyes trained on this snake-person (hey, until he gets the guy's name, 'snake-person' is as good an identifier as any).

He watches the stranger - Dylas - and takes in how he works to lower himself without getting his clothes dirty (thinking that Ignis would love this guy). Considering how chatty the Moogle had been just seconds ago with Noodle, it doesn't make sense that he has apparently not communicated at all with Dylas.

Nothing about the snake-human hybrid screams 'sinister', but that doesn't mean he hasn't potentially abused his Moogle...]

Really? He just asked to ride on my shoulders and started talkin' a mile a minute to Noodle here. [He gestures over his shoulder to the lilac Moogle starting to peer at the strange person.]

Y'ever consider he might be intimidated by you? I mean, half of you is a snake. Where I'm from, only monsters and daemons look like you. But since you're talking like a human, I'm guessing you're mostly that.
