Awaken! A Memory of the Past! It's night: the sort of night that exists in rural areas that haven't invented electric lights. You are standing outside a small building, windows lit dimly from a fire burning in the fireplace within. The sound of owls is present in the distance.
A figured wearing a light-colored cloak slips out of the house, carrying something -- a pot or jar? -- in one arm. He closes the door quietly and carefully, then turns and starts to jog away from the house.
Follow him? Check the inside of the house? Something else?
Beginning! A Moogle's Tutorial Zelgadis had gathered a bunch of the information after listening to the explanations given at the Curti Center and is heading to find a place to sit down and read it (possibly while getting food), when a small, furry blur slams into him. It is pretty hard to knock a man made of stoen off his feet, but it was a valiant attempt.
Before he could object, the Moogle said. "Hello, are you Zelgadis Graywords? Nice to meet you, I am your assigned guide, Mogesta!" She pulls a clipboard out of her bag. "Now, we have a lot to cover, so please listen carefully. First, I'm going to need you to fill out this survey I wrote to help me contact the Guilds on your behalf. It's only 50 questions long, so it should take you no time at all."
"Or I could just tell you what I want," Zelgadis said. He glanced idly around, to see if he could fob off the Moogle on someone who liked extroverted, hyper-organized people. "Why don't you go help that person?"
Whatever you are doing, you have an annoyed new arrival striding over, with a frustrated Moogle trying to explain that this wasn't how it worked at all.
Comfort! A New Home Away From Home Zelgadis was unable to convince Mogesta to leave short of declaring he was tired and wanted to find where he was staying and go to sleep. Which had meant picking up all sorts of supplies from storage first, but he finally was shown to B-06 and Mogesta left with a cheery 'See you tomorrow, Mister Graywords!".
Zelgadis judged the size of the house. "It's too much to hope for that I have this place to myself." He shifted the bag to retrieve the keys he had been given. At least the neighborhood seemed quiet.
... that meant someone was going to suddenly yell or make something explode, didn't it?
