It remains difficult for Cornelia to make sense of the lion, but because it seems docile she only focuses on it when Connie does and never lets her gaze linger. She'll ask about it later if the opportunity presents itself; the same applies to the slate and to the water bottle. Though both matters are strange and confusing and necessitate questioning, she sees no need to address them right away. At least not while Connie seems troubled by something.
