Frisk's overall absence has been... worrisome, to say the least. They were so inseparable before, that the distance cut pretty deep. Even with Maddie and all his other friends, Frisk remained near and dear to his... metaphorical heart.

So, uh. That glass? Forget the glass. That is a skeleton grabbing Frisk in a ridiculous hug. He'll clean up the mess later.

"FRIIIIISK! YOU'RE OKAY! WHICH IS EXCELLENT AND I'M NOT SURPRISED BUT!!! IT IS STILL EXCELLENT TO SEE THAT YOU'RE DOING WELL!"

Frisk squeaks like a dog toy when Papyrus sweeps them up into a hug, but it quickly turns into a full-belly laugh. They pat him on the back, trying very hard not to feel guilty for leaving him and everyone else in the house high and dry, and utterly failing. As much as they'd like to rationalize their decision as taking time of to process things, it had been, to put it simply, a massive dick move.

"Yeah, dude. I've missed you too," they say softly, leaning into the hug.

THE BIGGEST skeleton hug! Embrace the embrace, Frisk! There's no escape. Pap, for his lack of muscles, hugs as tight as he can muster. But not too tight! He'd hate to knock the air from their lungs.

"A LOT'S HAPPENED IN SO LITTLE TIME. BUT!!! I HOPE YOU CONSIDER COMING HOME FOR ONCE. OTHERWISE I MAY HAVE TO TRACK YOU DOWN LATER!!!"

Frisk flails in the skeleton's iron-hard grapple, but it's more for show than anything else. It's been too long since they've had a good, ol'-fashioned skelehug. Despite how Papyrus was made out of bone, he was a surprisingly good hugger.

"Yeah. If there's one thing this whole fiasco has taught me, it's that you guys--all you guys--are way too important for me to just abandon. I'm, um. Sorry about that, by the way. After the whole thing with other Frisk, I just... needed... space. Well, not really, I just wanted to avoid my problems, but. Still." They chuckle nervously, rubbing the back of their head.

"FRISK, YOU SILLY-WILLY. YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW THAT I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AM HERE FOR YOU IN TIMES OF DISTRESS! YOU DON'T HAVE TO RUN FROM ME." Despite this, his tone remains jovial, if a bit restrained. It's been a... rough couple of. Months? Goodness. "CLEARLY, WE SHOULD HAVE A CELEBRATORY FEAST ONCE THIS BAHAMUT IS TAKEN CARE OF! A GRAND SMORGASBORD OF SPAGHETTI AND OTHER ASSORTED DELICACIES!"

"Aw, but I wanted rigatoni," they tease, then burst out into giggles. They missed bantering with their best friend/brother/surrogate parent/whatever category Papyrus actually fell into because frankly they had no clue. "Seriously, Pap. That would be amazing."

"YOU WANT RIGATONI? YOU'LL GET THE MOST REGAL, ROUSING RIGATONI A HUMAN COULD EVER ASK FOR!!!" Yes, he's taking it seriously. Even in jest, Frisk's desires matter. He must be the best skelefriend they could ask for. For truth. For justice. For Frisk! "AND IF THERE'S ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE, JUST SAY THE WORD! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, SHALL MAKE YOUR WISH COME TRUE! LIKE A GENIE, IF GENIES WERE TALL, RUGGEDLY HANDSOME, AND SKELETAL."
