She might as well get the conversation started.
"Reno will likely know more than I do about Garland, but I'll share what I know. From what I understand, Garland was responsible for preserving life, no matter what the cost was going to be. He believed that it was impossible to break the cycle of destruction as it was called and thought the worlds that had already been devoured by Narayana were an acceptable loss if it meant saving Crystallis from destruction."
She looks over to Reno with a curious look to see if he had anything else to add.

"Crystallis had apparently been in a cycle too, every two thousand years, with Garland continuing to come back each time. Kind of like how Ramaa has been, and now she's got her memories of it back. But they're not human." Reno paused for a moment and pinched the bridge of his nose. No, that's not the right way to put it. He'd met plenty of non-humans and it wasn't the same.
"Or rather... not organic?" Reno shook his head. "I'm not sure how ta' put it. But he was created by the last world's Ancients to try to save themselves."
He looked at Kuja curiously. "Why Garland?"

"Makes sense," he conceded. "If Kalki's back, then Garland would be, too. And if he's got his memories, then yeah, there's no real reason for 'im not to betray us in the end."
Reno cracked his knuckles thoughtfully. "Except... If Garland's whole purpose is to prevent the Calamity, an' the Calamity is kept at bay by the existence of Vaikuntha... Maybe we can swing this our way after all. Because like hell would he let Kalki-Ramaa-Whoever bring it back."
omfg, I am so sorry for not tagging back! >.<;;;
She nodded her head in agreement, a determined spirit shining in her eyes. "If we could negotiate some sort of alliance with Cid or Garland or whatever he wants to call himself, maybe we could work something out that would stop all of it from happening again. It won't be easy though."
No worries
whoops my bad this time
He would have plenty of other eyes trained on Cid outside, too.
The redhead tilted his head as he considered Kuja for a moment. "Thanks for lettin' us know though, yo -- keepin' us clued in. I mean, it sounds dumb, but I mean it. Too many people get the wrong idea of tryin'a' handle something huge by themselves. Then we get screwed."
He was guilty of it himself in the past.
