It's about an hour later when the door to the apartment opens and Megatron steps through. The encounter with Starscream had been...jarring, so he'd decided to go for a walk around the Curti Center grounds to think, trying to figure out how best to deal with the situation. This was not his Starscream to be sure, but there were certainly commonalities between the two.
He was also still a Decepticon. Megatron had been disappointed to see the brand on Starscream, and to hear that his alternate universe self was still the movement's leader, and seemingly responsible for similar atrocities to the one he had committed...but he wasn't, frankly, surprised. It seemed that no matter the universe, if a version of himself existed, the Decepticons would follow.
He suspected not many of them had his change of heart, either.
Still, there's little damage Starscream can get up to on his own, and he'll face plenty of opposition if he does. And his relationship with Minimus, while still admittedly fractured, does seem to have mended a little in recent weeks; at least where Starscream is concerned, Minimus would be prepared to listen.
Megatron makes his way to the kitchen and begins filling the convertor; a drink of Energon will serve as his dinner. As he works he idly removes his helmet, and places it on the counter; it's not normally something he does, but it helps make the housing unit feel a bit more like a home, and a sanctuary.
He flips the convertor on and then stands back to watch it work. It also means his back is to the rest of the apartment...and anyone else who might be there.
