What: It's Kanji's birthday. Why not go to an amusement park to celebrate... at least, that's what one normally wants, right?

It's hard to keep their destination a surprise between the tickets, the flight, and approaching the main entrance of PuPuLand, but it can start out as a semi-secret. Due to their adventures into the Library, it just had to be pushed back a few days...

... She hoped he still liked it - the trip and his present later - even if it was belated.

"Where would you like to start?"

It was only the two of them going about the park despite weighing the options of a party with more people. In the end, this would be them on a date... first date? Yes, that sounded right.

He was curious as to where they'd be going. The ride gave him a big hint, what with everyone dressed to the nines and talking about what casinos they'd hit and where they'd place their bets, or what shows they'd check out. But he kept himself as in the dark as possible.

But Kanji, big old Kanji, couldn't help practically bouncing when the ship docked and everyone could disembark. He didn't come to Sparks Golsaucia too often, usually for deliveries. Business. But never for pleasure.

Today, he was a country kid in a big bright city. A big bright theme park city. THEME PARK DATE!

H-he could be excited about that, right? Yeah. Hell yeah! 'Course he could!

"The racing chocobos!" He crowed.

"I wanna hug a chocobo. Get my fix. Then we can check out rides n' food n' stuff."
