He slowly relaxed once the ride smoothed out. He relaxed enough that he opted to, rather than sticking to his own seat, he went to have a seat next to her. In one way, he may feel better sitting next to her, and not feel so... weird about heights outside of airships.

In the other, he wanted to hold her hand, and see what she saw.
