Where: The Dream Width (+ Curti Center & Airships)
What: Event log for the Once Upon A Dream Event! Should your character have their own memory, start your own top-level with said memory. If not, then tag around in other characters's memories! Furthermore, feel free to use the Mingle threads at the Curti Center and in the Airships for non-memory related CR. Please refer to the OOC Post for details and plotting. Plot Memories and the second Airship Mingle will be unlocked on May 25th.

"Haha, awesome!" Hunk found himself whooping and cheering when Ena threw that fireball- her magic was so cool! But as soon as the excitement wore off, he remembered that they were surrounded by zombies. And that was terrifying! Or at least it would've been, if there wasn't a killer melody slaying the dragons his nerves were trying to be. Magic here is so cool.

"Are we here to get to the house? Who's in the house? Why do we care about the house?" Hunk's questions are rapid-fire because while he's not terrified he's still panicked and out of his element. Ker-clack goes the boom cannon as Hunk pumps it again.

"What happens next? Does it involve us stopping all these zombies?" Boom. Down go another couple zombies. Ker-clack. "You know more about your home than I do, Ena!" Give him something to work with, anything.

The clacking sound of the odd weapon, Hunk's presence, and the questions pull at her again. Of course she knows the answer. "It's Endo--he's the one that contacted Jehu for help. I can see why—"

"I thought we killed all these damn risen the last time we were here!" Jehu cuts Ena off, shooting one of the undead with his crossbow.

"Looks like the whole town became fodder this time," the armored Human responds, slicing through one of the shambling corpses.

Their conversation now over, Ena turns back around to look at Hunk and casts a quick Magic Missile into a small group approaching his behind. She glances at him briefly, and his question comes back to mind. "After this? I mean, if things go according plan, then..." she trails off. Wait, should she know this? That's odd. That hasn't happened yet. Her gaze turns back to Hunk. A brief image of a village on fire flashes in her mind's eye. That was—

Thwoom, thwoom. The ground shakes, giant footsteps growing nearer. The whole party stops in place, suddenly cautious. Ena's train of thought yet again is interrupted by the chaos around her. Her gaze still trained on Hunk, her eyes slowly widen.

This was Ena's normal? Hordes of creepy zombies? A whole town worth?! Gross. Terrifying, even! But he finds himself tracking the conversation between the figments of the memory, grumbling at how rude they were to just cut the elf off like that.

And then she throws a series of magic bursts into zombies that Hunk hadn't noticed, what with his focus on the others. He smiles, nodding in thanks as she continued. If he used his people words, he'd probably start screaming, so this was for the best.

Thwoom, thwoom. Those aren't good noises. Everyone stops, and Ena's looking... at him. With wide eyes. Since she just shot magic at zombies that were behind him, Hunk just sighs. There's probably something else behind him.

"Ena, can we go home...?" The words are groaned out like a child asking if the car's there yet. Zombies are stressful and they're not going back to that shack so what are they doing and- Then Hunk whirls around, aiming into the space that used to be behind him, and pulls the trigger. Boom!
