What is he supposed to do? Help the injured teenager? Get the little boy out of there? Help Okuyasu? Can he even do any of those? Without his Jobs from Vaikuntha, he's powerless. Can't fight, can't heal, can't even bring himself to say a word for the fear of being spotted. If this is just a memory, does it even matter what he tries to do? But he can't just stand here and do nothing, can he? There's a kid dying right there...
