She looked back to her companions as they gingerly picked their way through the ruined houses. Something struck her - she should be with them, right? Walking with them to... wherever they were going. She obviously was the one that was supposed to have spotted whatever it was that was leading them there in the first place. She wasn't supposed to be... talking to this random Human who had appeared from nowhere.
But then that led her thoughts in a different direction - she was seeing this girl and talking to her too. So why hadn't her companions reacted? There was some sort of disembodied voice that echoed around them, but Ena was so caught up in her thoughts she didn't notice what it was saying. She looked back to the girl. Was she right? Was the girl the real one and her companions not?
She stared deep into the girl's green eyes. Flashes of a house. A room. Unfamiliar scenery? All these images passed through her mind's eye, and for a fraction of a second she's not sure if she's just imagining these things, but it slowly dawns on her that all of those things were real. They were betrayed by the last survivor they find. He led them away and killed them all. She died and was revived on a new planet. And now, this girl...
The world suddenly stopped - raindrops hung in the air, and all the smells of a wet, destroyed village awere cut off. The others were frozen mid-step. But Ena paid no mind to them. Her frown deepened.
"...Monika?"
And in an instant, the whole dream world vanished, the two now floating in the space of the Dream Width.
